Fauci’s daughter was employed at Twitter up until a year ago

If you ever get the feeling that when it comes to politics in America that it’s all a big grift that you are not in on — something the late comedian George Carlin tried to tell us — you’re not alone.

Amid all the controversy surrounding Dr. Anthony Fauci, who for a short period of time acquired God-like powers over our lives, it cannot be forgotten that he was entrenched in the bureaucracy of government having spent nearly 40 years as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Fauci sat for a seven-hour deposition by two Republican attorneys general last month and Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, who was just elected to the U.S. Senate, shared some “tidbits” of  that deposition online, noting that President Biden’s chief medical advisor replied “I don’t recall” to questions 174 times. But Schmitt dropped another little nugget: Fauci’s daughter worked for Twitter up until about a year ago.

Fauci was apparently slow in sharing his daughter’s employment at Twitter, having to be asked multiple time if he knew anyone who had worked there.

The transcripts also included the following exchange:

Q. Did you ever — when she was working at Twitter, did you ever discuss with her the content of stuff posted on social media platforms?

A. No.

Q. Did you ever discuss with her the origins of the virus or concerns about the origins of the virus?

A. No, she has no interest in that.

Q. Was she — what was her role in Twitter?

A. I believe she was a software engineer.

Q. Does she still work at Twitter?

A. No.

While some will argue this is not breaking news — there were previous rumblings about his daughter being employed at Twitter — the reality is that with today’s never-ending news cycle, the revelation fell to the wayside.

It also makes for interesting banter as America awaits the possibility of new boss Elon Musk releasing Twitter files on the suppression of Covid-19 related information by the social media giant, following last week’s release of files showing that company executives blatantly interfered in the 2020 presidential election by censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story.

One thing is certain, given all that we know today — people are surprised by little these days. At the same time, where Fauci’s daughter, Allison, apparently works today is equally noteworthy:

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Elon Muck’s free speech platform we know as Twitter:
