The View co-host whines about how bad living in Florida is: ‘You would be upset 24 hours a day too!’

The ladies of ABC’s “The View” opined on yet another subject they knew little about, resulting in co-host Ana Navarro delivering an own that wasn’t on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).

“…there’s gotta be some sort of connection there…”

Coming back from a commercial break, Joy Behar stated that Finland was named the happiest country in the world for the sixth straight year. After Sunny Hostin hyped a number of the socialist aspects of Finnish society, Navarro remarked, “Sunny told me this morning I need to find my happiness. She’s sending me to Finland.”

“She was upset at 8:30,” Hostin chimed in. “I was like ‘You need to go to Finland.'”

It was then that Navarro attempted to degrade the Sunshine State as she quipped, “Maybe if you lived in Florida, you would be upset 24 hours a day too.”

Earlier, she lamented, “They are banning absolutely everything that isn’t the kitchen sink, and tomorrow, I may wake up, and the kitchen sink has been banned. They are terrifying teachers. People don’t want to be teachers in Florida.”

“Listen, if I was a parent in Florida, I would be a hell of a lot more concerned with banning of books,” she said and claimed, “It’s the second-highest state to ban books,” despite the fact that so-called “banned books” would still be available outside of school libraries.

To contrast the perceived awful conditions in Florida, she dove in on Hostin’s argument about the government freebies and said, “I was noticing that the three top countries for happiness are Finland, Denmark, Iceland. ¿Que frio? I mean, there’s gotta be some sort of connection there because the average temperature in Finland is 19 degrees.”

On that point, either Navarro didn’t understand the difference between Fahrenheit and Celsius thermometers or she was exaggerating for effect, because even in one of Finland’s northernmost large cities, Oulu, the average annual temperature was 37 degrees Fahrenheit and in the capital of Helsinki, temperatures throughout summertime average at 70 degrees.

Meanwhile, she inadvertently nailed the point about what contributes to Finns’ happiness as she lamented a quick internet search was not promising for “Cuban restaurants” or “taco places” in the Nordic country. As it happens, numerous polls have found Finns are none too keen on immigration as natives worry about the negative impacts it has on their cultural identity, something Navarro wouldn’t be happy to leave behind.

Many were happy to point out that Navarro has both the means to leave Florida whenever she likes and the support of millions who would help her with her things.

But she herself sang a different tune about her love for home when she wasn’t trying to score political points against America’s Governor.

She told People as recently as September about her living arrangements while filming “The View” in New York City that “I’m going to fly back and forth, twice a week, as I did most of last season. It’s four planes a week, but it’s worth it to be able to balance my work life and my personal life.”

Of course, that was after she commented, “Every New Yorker I know has moved to Miami. You think I’m crazy enough to be the only Miamian who moves to New York? No, I am not moving to New York City. My husband and I live in Miami, I have a life that I love there. I have way too much going on there to give up.”
