Leftists shrieked like angry banshees after the Supreme Court struck a major blow against racial discrimination with Thursday’s ruling that outlawed race-based college admissions, and the hysterics on “The View” uncorked a wild conspiracy theory that the worst is yet to come.
The more neurotic elements of the left, particularly feminist Hillary Clinton supporters seem to have convinced themselves that the dystopian fictional world depicted in “The Handmaid’s Tale” will be visited on America by conservatives, particularly the ones who sit on the bench of the nation’s highest court. And the ladies at the table slid down the slippery slope to predict that soon, all women could be banned from higher education, a crazy idea that sadly, will be believed by many, especially viewers of the popular ABC daytime gabfest.

After the usual bashing of Justice Clarence Thomas who was a part of the 6-3 majority ruling, the gaggle of left-wing hysterics began to spin their web of how Thursday’s ruling was a step toward the repressive nightmare world of Gilead as portrayed in Margaret Atwood’s 1985 sci-f novel and, more recently, in the HULU miniseries.
“Is this leading to no women in colleges soon?” Whoopi Goldberg asked. “Who knows?”
“I think it’s important to note something you’ve noted a lot, Whoopi, is that the group that has been most successful in accessing diversity initiatives are white women,” co-host Sunny Hostin said. “Right? That’s the group that has been most successful. So, when we’re talking –”
“That’s a fact! Goldberg exclaimed. “She’s not saying anything against white women. Let’s be clear, that is a fact,” she added, for some reason feeling the need to ensure viewers that the race-obsessed Hostin wasn’t making a racist statement.
“That’s a fact, okay?” Hostin continued. “That’s just a fact. And so when we’re talking about taking preferential treatment, we have to look at that. Are we now also going to take away legacy, sports, how about people with disabilities? I mean, I think –,” implying that the root of the Supreme Court ruling was punitive against blacks.
Ringleader Joy Behar jumped in, “How about whose kids give a lot of money to the institutions? That’s another thing. They name a wing after somebody and then the kid gets in.”
“So, my question is why is this just about race?” Hostin asked, throwing down the race card.
Goldberg added, “Well, that’s why I said what is scary, because you are talking about folks who bust their behinds who get a little bit of help because if you’re a black kid as we said, if you’re a black kid or an Asian child or native American kid that’s coming from your experience, they are taking that into consideration, because you’ve worked your way to there. You’ve gotten to here and they say, let us help you get up because we see where you’re heading. We want to help you.”
“And it’s been harder for us. And I’m sorry, people may not agree with that. My father always taught me you have to work twice as hard to get half as far in this country! And that remains true,” said Hostin.
After some back and forth, Goldberg, who dressed up like a handmaid during last year’s Halloween show went there, “Is this leading to no women in colleges soon? Who knows?”

The unhinged reaction from leftists after Thursday’s ruling comes just over one year after the conservative justices aborted Roe v. Wade. Whether the mobs will be similarly unleashed this time around has yet to be seen but Democrats and their shock troops are hopping mad.
