Republican presidential candidate and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and his status as an unmarried man with a girlfriend sparked a recent conversation on ABC’s “The View.”
Once again, co-host Sunny Hostin spouted the most blatantly offensive blather of the bunch — an impressive feat, considering she sits right next to Joy Behar.
Hostin thinks presidents need to be married, to avoid a Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, the white wife of black Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas “popping up.”
“The only thing that I worry about is, like, a Ginni Thomas popping up,” Hostin said. “So you have someone that is single and someone becomes president, and then he meets a Ginni Thomas who– I think most people know, there is some wonder as to how involved she is with what has happened on the Supreme Court because her husband is on the Supreme Court, and that little pillow talk. … If someone is not married and then they get married to Ginny Thomas, I’m concerned.”

Scott responded to the segment on Fox News’s “Hannity,” where host Sean Hannity noted the racial component couched in Hostin’s comments.
“Is that not playing the race card?” Hannity asked.
“Absolutely, Sean,” Scott replied. “The Democratic Party and the progressive left, they are stuck in Jim Crow, 1920s and 30s.”
“What they do not want is a black man who thinks for himself,” Scott stated. “You can be anything in America if you’re black, except for a conservative.”
“That’s why Sunny is so radical and so disgusting with her comments,” he explained. “They do not want my life story to be told because it disrupts the lies of the radical left.”
“I can’t think of anything more disgusting and more disheartening to watch the Democratic Party descend down into the 1920s,” he added.

Hostin apparently contracted her fear of presidential “pillow talk” in just the last few years. It didn’t seem to concern her when President Bill Clinton was having an affair with his young intern, Monica Lewinsky.
That was just a “consensual sexual affair” between a 22-year-old lovestruck girl and the most powerful leader in the free world, and if you supported Clinton’s impeachment over it but thought the impeachment of Donald Trump was bogus, you are a hypocrite.
