Tinseltown swoons over Kamala: ‘We’re all so excited’

Nobody is more pleased with the coronation of VP Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s new standard bearer than its most obnoxious constituents and Hollywood is swooning over her candidacy.

Previously all-in for the woebegone lame duck Joe Biden, Tinseltown had recently soured on the 81-year-old in the aftermath of his catastrophic CNN debate performance, turning on him after pumping tens of millions of dollars into his campaign coffers.

But now that the coup against Biden has been a smashing success with the installation of Harris. Tinseltown is gushing with excitement unseen since a mysterious young community organizer named Barack Obama suddenly appeared on the scene back in 2008.

“We’re all so excited to do whatever we can to support Vice President Harris in her historic request,” said actor George Clooney, whose New York Times op-ed calling for Biden to quit proved to be a big factor in influencing his fellow celebs to join up with the Pelosi-Obama overthrow.

“Harris will continue Joe Biden’s work and will be a great president,” said activist diva Barbara Streisand, sharing a list from MSNBC conspiracy queen Rachel Maddow of Biden’s supposed accomplishments.

Only months after he dubbed the geriatric Biden as “Joebi-Wan Kenobi,” actor Mark Hamill who played Luke Skywalker in the “Star Wars” movies shared his love of Kamala on X with the hashtag #HamillHeartsHarris.

Also posting her support for Harris was “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria who wrote, “I believe in Kamala Harris and believe in our collective effort to organize and win this!”

Corpulent hysteric Rob “Meathead” Reiner who has been screaming about the end of democracy for years is now confident that all will have a storybook ending.

“There may be a different momentum happening now that Kamala Harris has entered the race,” said University of Saint Mary professor Mark Harvey, the author of “Celebrity Influence: Politics, Persuasion, and Issue-Based Advocacy” of Harris. “We now have a younger person who I think is perceived by many as being maybe a little more in touch, maybe a little cooler than ‘old Joe Biden.’ I think that in a way is probably going to attract more celebrities in her direction.”

And just like that, Biden’s biggest supporters have discarded him like yesterday’s garbage.
