A top Trump administration economic advisor is touting great signs for the economy.
White House National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett said that there’s a “construction boom” underway thanks to Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill, including “factory construction.”
“The basic story that we think is animating the economy right now is that there’s a construction boom. It’s the biggest construction boom we’ve ever had,” Hassett told Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo.
“In March, we saw the best numbers I’ve ever seen,” he told Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo.
“Right now, there’s more new factories being built in the U.S. than ever in U.S. history, and it’s because we’ve got all of these commitments—the $19T in commitments… and so there’s a race to Make America Great Again, and it’s really visible in the data.”

Despite the good news, the clip garnered plenty of cynics as many Americans have yet to feel relief from a booming economy:
Where are these factories and more important what are they going to build? Tech parts for algorithms right? or electric parts for a pneumeric motor? I see no new building except what was started in 2023.

And if the democrats get back in…
They’ll tear it all down again!
We can’t ever let another democrat get into office!

Factories = Data Centers.

Despite the critics, White House Senior Deputy Press Secretary Kush Desai echoed similar good news for the economy.
“Manufacturing and factory construction jobs continued to grow in June, especially for durable goods like steel, aluminum, and other metals,” Desai stated on X.
“With a new announcement just today by Magnitude 7 Metals about restarting an aluminum smelter in Missouri, Americans can count on the best being yet to come.”
The June jobs report reinforces that the American labor market remains solid thanks to President Trump’s economic agenda. Manufacturing and factory construction jobs continued to grow in June, especially for durable goods like steel, aluminum, and other metals.
