Transgender Starbucks worker goes on tirade when misgendered, attacks man recording incident

A woman in England’s refusal to participate with a barista’s gender ideology led to a screaming tirade and a violent assault, and it wasn’t the customer.

“You’re being transphobic, Karen, now get out!”

A viral video viewed millions of times featured the tail end of a dispute between a Starbucks customer and an evidently male employee who believed himself otherwise. Shared by Gays Against Groomers ambassador Oli London, among others, the less than one-minute clip showed the employee clapping in the customer’s face as he demanded she leave.

“Transgender Starbucks Employee screams at woman for misgendering him, then proceeds to violently assault a man filming the altercation,” London said before asking, “Is this an acceptable way for staff to behave @StarbucksUK?”

“You’re rude,” the woman can be heard asserting of the indignant employee. “Don’t ever call me transphobic, ever!”

“You’re being transphobic, Karen, now get out,” he insisted before doing so again, clapping to the syllables.

When the customer requested a refund, as it seemed service may have been denied despite having already paid, the employee said he would not issue one and accused the customer, who at this point said she would call the police, of trespassing.

The man filming the altercation from just beyond the threshold of the coffee shop could then be heard saying, “Apparently, we said something transphobic,” prompting the barista to turn his ire that way, lashing out at the recording device.

Reacting to the video, Standing for Women founder Kellie-Jay Keen asked for help in identifying the specific location of the Starbucks as she suggested, “We should all go,” to another user who had shared the clip and said, “When women see men who think they’re women in female spaces, they often get themselves out as quickly as possible & say nothing because we all know how men react when we say something they don’t like. Like, ‘why are you in here?’ or ‘he.'”

As it turned out, the Starbucks in question was located in Southampton, England and programme eidtor Ben Leo from GBNews’ “Dan Wootton Tonight” detailed the incident had occurred on April 30 and the employee in question had since been terminated.

“We do not tolerate that kind of behaviour. We are very sorry for the experience this customer had,” Starbucks had reportedly told him when asked about the employee.

It remains unknown whether or not the cops were called to the location and if either the customer or the man filming the altercation pressed charges against the employee. What is known is the shared sentiment by those who viewed the video that this sort of behavior has become all too common as the entitlement that comes with imposing your ideology on others continues to permeate society.
