The incoming Trump administration is reportedly planning to build more criminal alien detention centers and end welfare for illegals.
The first priority of the incoming administration is to double the number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention beds from 41,000 so that the feds can briefly detain large groups of criminal aliens before deporting them, according to NBC News.
“So far, people working on the plans with the Trump transition team are assessing which of the facilities the Biden administration closed could be reopened, taking account of available space in county jails and assessing which areas might need temporary facilities to detain migrants as part of the deportation effort,” NBC News notes.

The second priority is to restart family detentions wherein parents and their kids are detained together. While this is evidently a controversial move, it’s no less controversial than family separations.
President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team is also trying to estimate how many criminal aliens they’ll be dealing with by region. The goal is to target regions that contain lots of illegals but few detention centers.
“Cities with large populations of migrants — like Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago — could need additional detention sites built nearby to hold migrants arrested there,” according to NBC News.
“The administration might also need to reopen, expand or build new facilities in the Northeast to hold migrants arrested around New York City, Philadelphia and Washington,” the reporting continues.
The incoming administration is also adamant that left-wing sanctuary city and state policies will NOT deter their plans.
Meanwhile, the incoming Trump administration should also be looking into ending welfare programs for illegal aliens. President-elect Trump announced this particular plan in a video published on Nov. 1st of last year when he was still running against current President Joe Biden.

“Crooked Joe Biden is running a non-stop conveyor belt importing illegal aliens from all over the world into our country and the Biden Department of Homeland Security is abusing its so-called parole authority to give them more governmental benefits than many law-abiding citizens, including our Vets,” Trump said in the clip above.
“Under this horrendous abuse of power, millions of illegals will be eligible for billions and billions of dollars in welfare benefits courtesy of you the American taxpayer. So not only is Crooked Joe surrendering your borders and your sovereignty, he is stealing your hard-earned money to redistribute it to people who have no business being in our country. They should be in their country. This is not sustainable by anybody, certainly not sustainable by us,” he added.
He went on to claim at the time that if he won the 2024 presidential election (which he since has), he’d “shut down this travesty and defend the wealth of hardworking middle-class families.”
“I will stop the outrageous abuse of parole authority,” he said. “I will reinstate my action making illegals ineligible for public housing. We will terminate all work permits for illegal aliens. And I will demand that Congress send me a bill blocking any future President from abusing his power to distribute welfare benefits in this manner. It’s all being paid for by the American taxpayer.”
“Like automatic citizenship for children of illegal aliens, welfare is a gigantic magnet drawing people from all over the world. They want to come to the United States. They want to feast off the sweat and savings of the American taxpayer. It’s not fair. It’s not just. We’re not going to let it happen. I will end it all immediately,” he added.
It’s not only the American people who are poised to benefit from all this but also private prison companies like Geo Group, the country’s largest private prison operator.
The company’s founder, George Zoley, told investors last week that the president-elect’s deportation plans could represent a “potential sea change” for his industry.
“The Geo Group was built for this unique moment in our history and the opportunities that it will bring,” he said, according to ABC News.
