In the face of leftist infiltration, President Donald Trump suggested how “disruptors and troublemakers” should be treated as he called on town halls to proceed.
Even before entering politics, the businessman-turned-GOP-leader had repeatedly demonstrated his ability to leverage media to his advantage. Now, as radicals continue efforts to stir up trouble at Republican town halls, Trump encouraged his party to confront them head-on so constituents “know what you are up against.”
Amid a number of Truth Social statements released Sunday evening, the president called on GOP members in Congress to carry on with their town halls after weeks of disruptions and threats put many on hiatus.
“The Radical Left Democrats are paying a fortune to have people infiltrate the Town Halls of Republican Congressmen/women and Senators,” wrote Trump. “These Great Patriot Politicians should not treat them nicely.”
“Have them immediately ejected from the room — They are disruptors and troublemakers. You must allow your audience to know what you are up against, or else they will think they are Republicans, and that there is dissension in the Party,” he went on. “There is not, there is only LOVE and UNITY. Republicans are happy with what is taking place in our Country. We all love America!”
Recent examples of confrontations found South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace (R) faced with a gender ideologue raging over use of the term “tranny” while Florida Rep. Byron Donalds (R) was ahead of the president’s position. The lawmaker had protesters expressing their Hamas sympathies and opposition to cutting government waste removed for being disrespectful.
“They did not come to hear you yell, ma’am. They didn’t come here for that,” said Donalds.
Even worse, Texas Rep. Keith Self (R) explained in March that he had to cancel an event in the wake of addressing Delaware Rep. Sarah McBride (D) as “mister.”
What had originally been an open event at a local coffee shop in Greenville, Texas, had to be rescheduled before it was ultimately canceled. A statement from Self explained, “My office received multiple death threats and threats of violence–several of which are currently being investigated by authorities.”

In March, Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley (R) called out Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D) for saying the “quiet part out loud” after the New York lawmaker spoke with PBS and said, “We are mobilizing. In New York, we have people going to the Republican districts and going after these Republicans who are voting for this and forcing them to either change their vote or face the consequences.”
Reacting on Fox News with host Sean Hannity, Hawley contended, “They’re just a theater troupe that is funded by George Soros. And that’s what we’re seeing — theater actors who are showing up at these meetings pretending to be constituents. We’re not going to fall for it.”
