Former President Donald J. Trump tore into the Biden regime on Friday, the day after the news broke that Special Counsel Jack Smith had added more charges against him in the Mar-a-Lago “boxes” case, denouncing what he described as “third world intimidation” and calling for top DOJ officials to be locked up.
On Thursday, just as a sense of disappointment was setting in with the media after the D.C. grand jury that was expected to indict Trump on charges related to the so-called “insurrection” adjourned for the day, it was announced that Smith, Attorney General Merrick Garland’s hand-picked legal hitman, had filed a new 60-page superseding indictment accusing him of altering and concealing evidence. Also charged was Carlos De Oliveira, the head of maintenance at Mar-a-Lago.
In a fiery series of posts on his Truth Social platform, the 2024 GOP frontrunner didn’t hold anything back, calling for Smith, Garland, and Deputy AG Lisa Monaco to be jailed. along with the special counsel’s “thug” prosecutors.
“At the direction of Crooked Joe Biden and his Weaponized DOJ, Deranged Jack Smith is attempting to destroy the lives of two fine people who have worked for me (and have done a great job!) for a long time. They are being persecuted with one goal, to “Get Trump.” This is textbook Third World intimidation by rabid, lawless prosecutors. These same craven tactics were used, and failed, during the Russia, Russia, Russia Witch Hunt and other Hoaxes. We will not let Radical Lunatics destroy our Country!” Trump wrote.

“They ought to throw Deranged Jack Smith and his Thug Prosecutors in jail, with Meritless Garland and Trump Hating Lisa Monaco. They have totally Weaponized the Department of Injustice. Whatever happened to the Crooked Joe Biden Boxes Case? Why was Hillary Clinton allowed to delete 33,000 emails, many of them Classified, AFTER getting a Subpoena from Congress? Why was Bill Clinton allowed to take tapes out of the W.H. in his socks? Why has no other President ever been charged? ELECTION FRAUD!” Trump raged in another Truth Social Post.

The former president later resumed his attack on Smith whom he has repeatedly savaged, writing, “How can Deranged Jack Smith bring a case on January 6th., as ridiculous as it is anyway, when I have already won such a case, and been fully acquitted, in the U.S. Senate? In other words, I was Impeached on this, and WON!!! ELECTION INTERFERENCE & PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT, all rolled up as one. We are truly a Nation In Decline!”

If anyone thinks that Smith’s piling on more charges or even throwing the former president into a D.C. dungeon is going to deter him from his quest to retake the White House, they are sadly mistaken.
During a Friday appearance on “The John Fredericks Show,” a defiant Trump said that he’ll run from a prison cell if he has to.

“Not at all. There’s nothing in the Constitution to say that it could,” Trump said in response to whether a conviction would force him out of the race. “Even the radical left crazies are saying, ‘No, that wouldn’t stop!’ And it wouldn’t stop me either.”
“I just heard it as I’m sitting down. This is harassment. This is election interference,” Trump told Breitbart News on Thursday night when asked to respond to the new indictment and the added charges. “I’m protected by the Presidential Records Act totally. It shouldn’t even be a case. It’s not a criminal case.”
“Where’s Biden with all the documents? He’s got 20 times, 30 times the documents I have, and he has not made it easy for them either. He has been hiding boxes. They’re sending boxes to Chinatown. Boxes are being sent to Chinatown, and yet China is paying them millions of dollars. You explain that one. You don’t even hear about it. All you hear about is Trump. No, this is a two-tier system of injustice. That’s what we have. We have a sick country. Our country is very sick right now. We have a failing nation and it’s a very sad thing to watch,” he said.
