The best sign that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s politically-motivated criminal probe of Donald Trump is hitting a wall may be that the Trump-haters on the left have reverted to slamming the former president as a racist after he called Bragg as a “SOROS BACKED ANIMAL.”
The prospects of former Trump being indicted over a $130,000 hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels took a serious hit when a 2018 letter from the lawyer of star witness Michael Cohen to the Federal Election Commission surfaced, showing that his client acted alone in paying “hush money” to Daniels and he did so using his own personal funds.
Trump responded to the “exculpatory” letter by calling for the Manhattan DA to end his “witch hunt.”
“Total disarray in the Manhattan D.A.’s Office. Tremendous dissension and chaos because they have NO CASE, and many of the honest people in the Office know it, and want to do the right thing,” he said in another Truth Social post.
But it was an earlier “Truth” that drew the race baiters. In asking why Bragg will not drop the case, Trump wrote in all caps: “HE IS A SOROS BACKED ANIMAL WHO JUST DOESN’T CARE ABOUT RIGHT OR WRONG NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE HURT. THIS IS NO LEGAL SYSTEM, THIS IS THE GESTAPO, THIS IS RUSSIA AND CHINA, BUT WORSE.”
The reference to billionaire George Soros centers on his ongoing campaign to back radical left criminal-friendly prosecutors willing to do the bidding of the progressive left. In New York, the Color of Change PAC received its largest donation in the 2022 election cycle, $1 million, reportedly from Soros immediately after the group endorsed Bragg for district attorney and pledged more than $1 million in support of his candidacy, according to CNBC.
In addition to calling attention to Braggs’ link to Soros, Trump also called him “a degenerate psychopath that [truly] hates the USA!”
But it was the term “animal” that drew the race hustlers, many of whom are dead set on seeing Trump arrested no matter what — even if he has committed no actual crime.

Moreover, referring to a Black prosecutor as an animal is racist and gross. ITs the kind of dog whistle that we’ve come to expect from Trump. It might appeal to white supremacists, but it should be rejected by all decent Americans.

You have to hand it to Trump: in attacking DA Alvin Bragg as a “Soros-backed animal” he manages to combine antisemitism and anti-Black racism into a single, succinct, racist attack.
Which, of course, no one in the GOP will condemn as the GOP is now fine with white supremacy.
