Trump celebrates ‘Yellow Cape’ supporter who sends Georgia rally protester packing

President Donald Trump praised a woman who helped eject a protester who tried to interrupt his Georgia rally.

The president has been touring the country to boost Republican candidates ahead of the midterm elections, and that hasn’t come without complications. In this case, critics join in on the rallies and then cause disruption before being escorted out, as happened in Dalton, Georgia, on Friday.

The president took the interruption in stride, mocking the “paid protesters” and implying their parents voted for him and will “smack those kids around when they go home.” He also praised the woman who helped get one of the disruptors out of the stands.

“Who is the young lady in the yellow cape? Did you see that? Where’s the yellow cape person? She went up – did you see her? The hell with the women’s sports stuff. She went up there and ripped them out of their seat and threw them out of here,” Trump quipped. “Where’s the woman with the yellow cape? She was great. We are going to bring her to Washington. I love it!”

He also jabbed at Senator Jon Ossoff, D-Ga., for “probably” paying the critics to show up at his rally.

“No, but they get paid a couple of bucks and they do that. It’s ridiculous,” Trump said, guessing that they had gotten “$250 each” and effectively “screwed up their reputation for the rest of their lives.”

“Far left loser Jon Ossoff,” he added. “See, now, he probably paid them.”

“But I love the woman with the yellow cape. She was pushing them around. Slapping the guy around,” Trump said.
