President Donald Trump delivered hard-hitting joke after joke after joke at the rescheduled White House Correspondents Dinner (WHCD) this Friday before ending on a stunningly high, MAGAnanimous send-off.
Recall that the original event, scheduled for April 25, was cancelled mid-dinner after a man opened fire near the main security screening area.
Trump began his rescheduled WHCD dinner speech by making a joke about the immediate aftermath of the April 25 shooting.
“After hearing the gunshots, many people yelled, ‘Get down, get down,’ which caused [rapper and singer] Nicki Minaj to start twerking,” the president quipped. “Do you believe it? ‘Get down.’ She’s the only one that really understood what that meant. It’s quite an evening.”

Continuing with this theme, the president also made a joke about the WHCD guests struggling to find the perfect pair of matching shoes.
“Everyone’s looking really good tonight, and I know it was not easy finding shoes to go along with your bulletproof vest, which many people didn’t want to wear because they’d rather die than look 20 pounds heavier,” he said.

Turning to other matters, the president paid tribute to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt by poking fun at her for being “nasty.”
“She can be nasty,” he said. “But sometimes she has no choice. Right? But Karoline may have one of the hardest jobs in the White House. She has to deal with all of you all of the time, and you could be very difficult. You could be very, very difficult people, but I’m probably being a little bit oversensitive.”

Trump then moved on to the real topic of the night — the propaganda press and their certified Trump Derangement Syndrome.
“This place is really the largest group of Trump Derangement Syndrome people ever put together at one time, I suspect,” he said.
He added that they were lucky the last dinner “was cut short” because the scathing remarks he’d prepared at the time would have left them “in danger.”

The president later mocked Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s uber-masculinity. RFK is known for bench pressing shirtless and, evidently, running over cows.
“I hope that everyone finally got to enjoy their entire, very delicious beef tenderloins — very special beef,” Trump began. “And I want you all to know that Bobby Kennedy, who’s right here, personally ran over the cow in his car. Boom. And he cut it up, and he brought it here for you to eat tonight.”
“So it’s very fresh. And Bobby also suggested an appetizer featuring his favorite cut of male raccoon roadkill. But we drew the line at that, Cheryl. We said, ‘No, we’re not going to do that. We’re not doing that,'” the president added.

After delivering some jokes about the recent White House UFC fight and upcoming Indy 500 race in D.C., the president joked about how the next fight at the White House will be a heavyweight match.
“I can exclusively reveal to you this evening that for the heaviest of the heavyweights, we will have sloppy Chris Christie — one of the sloppiest human beings you’ll ever meet — fighting,” he said.
“I would say, I could mention the governor of Chicago, but I’m going to mention instead Jerry Nadler. And they’re fighting for a big piece of cheesecake. Big, fat piece of cheesecake,” he added.

The president also took a shot at notoriously anti-Trump singer/songwriter Bruce Springsteen.
“The tour has been renamed ‘Bored in the USA,'” he said as he remixed Springsteen’s classic song, “Born in the USA.”

The president saved some jokes for specific journalists like CNN’s Jake Tapper, who recently wrote a book about the media’s cover-up of former President Joe Biden’s otherwise clearly declining health.
“Some people say that Jake Tapper is a great investigative reporter in D.C., and that’s why after moderating our debate, it only took him one year to break the story that Joe Biden might possibly have suffered from cognitive decline,” he said.

Trump saved one of the best jokes of the night for Bari Weiss, the traditional, non-crazy liberal who now runs CBS News, and who the leftist press seems to think is the reincarnation of Hitler. Indeed, ever since she took over at CBS News, leftists inside the company have been screaming and hollering.
“While I have all of the press here in one place, I have to say that we’re having an amazing load of accomplishments that the media never talks about,” he began.
“For example, under my administration, a once-feared and powerful regime that relentlessly attacked America has finally been toppled, their former leaders have been removed, and they’re now being run by a gay dictator facing internal divisions, but I, for one, wish Bari Weiss all the best at CBS News,” he added.

Before concluding his speech, the president made one final joke at the media’s expense.
“You people have no idea how lucky you are,” he said. “When I’m gone, you’re all going to be broke. Your business model is going to be finished. No. It’s true. When I’m not around, you’re going to be broke. There’s not going to be anybody to report on. Nobody gives a damn about anybody else.”

And finally, the president concluded his speech with his usual MAGAnanimity.
“I have tremendous respect for the people in this room,” he said. “Sometimes I don’t feel you treat me fair. Or maybe you do. I don’t know, I don’t feel that. But sometimes you treat me very fairly, and I have a lot of respect for your profession. Your profession is amazing. And I just want to thank you for having me.”
“I did this for one reason: to make America great again. And that’s what’s happening right before your very eyes. We have made America great again. It’s going to get a lot greater,” he concluded.
