Trump hammers Biden over freed Hamas hostages, wonders where the Americans are

President Joe Biden took credit for the four-day ceasefire in Gaza as well as the release of hostages who were being held by the Hamas terror organization but the absence of Americans among those freed left him open to criticism.

As of Saturday evening, there have been no Americans among those who have been released from their captivity, a stunning lack of respect for the U.S. and its befuddled leader in yet another embarrassment on the world stage for Biden.

His predecessor and likely opponent in next year’s pivotal election, former President Donald J. Trump,  laid into a man who he recently described as a “stupid person” over the failure to secure the freedom of the American captives.

“Has anybody noticed that Hamas has returned people from other Countries but, so far, has not returned one American Hostage? There is only one reason for that, NO RESPECT FOR OUR COUNTRY OR OUR LEADERSHIP. This is a very sad and dark period of America!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

On Friday, the geriatric Democrat spoke to the press from Nantucket, the playground of the wealthy elite off the Massachusetts coast and while patting himself on the back over the four-day halt in the fighting, admitted to a reporter that he had no idea when the Americans would be released or even if they were still alive.

The reporter asked, “And of the 10 Americans that are unaccounted for, do you know all of their conditions? Are they all alive?”

“We don’t know all their conditions,” Biden replied, suggesting for all he knows, they could already be dead.

Also on Saturday, Trump reacted to a brief snag in the agreement with the Hamas terror organization that may have put Biden’s alleged diplomatic triumph in jeopardy.

“Hamas now wants a better deal for hostages. This is not going to end well!” Trump wrote.

The former president and GOP frontrunner wasn’t the only one critical of Biden’s inability to secure the release of the American hostages.

“Hamas is refusing to release the American citizens they have taken hostage,” said Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) in a Saturday post to X. “What is the President of the United States doing about this?”

“He’s continuing to enjoy his holiday vacation in a $40 million dollar mansion,” she added, referring to the Nantucket estate of Biden’s billionaire friend and private equity tycoon David Rubenstein.

Biden was busy shopping and enjoying a milkshake, according to Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich.

Another GOP lawmaker, Rep. Pat Fallon (R-TX) threw shade on Biden’s tooting of his own horn over orchestrating the hostage release.

“If Joe Biden was so crucial, why aren’t any Americans being freed right now? I think that’s very telling,” Fallon asked during a Friday appearance on “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” on Fox Business.

“Beginning this morning, under a deal reached by extensive U.S. diplomacy, including numerous calls I’ve made from the Oval Office to leaders across the region, fighting in Gaza will halt for four days,” Biden boasted during his Friday presser.
