Trump imitates Elon Musk talking about SpaceX rockets in hilarious moment: ‘He’s a super genius guy’

Former President Donald Trump’s admiration for Elon Musk took on the sincerest form of flattery as the GOP leader regaled an audience with his take on the tech mogul talking.

“With Elon, it’s like…”

Between rallies, town halls and interviews, the Republican Party presidential nominee found time for a lighthearted moment Friday as he joined Moms for Liberty in Washington, D.C. During a fireside chat with co-founder Tiffany Justice during the Joyful Warriors National Summit. Talk of the entrepreneur prompted Trump to dabble with an impression.

Mentioning how Musk aimed to use his SpaceX company to rescue astronauts stranded aboard the International Space Station, the president asserted, “Elon is a very different kind of a guy. As he thinks, he talks.”

Immediately, Trump offered, “With Elon, it’s like, ‘well, you know, I’m doing a new stainless steel hub that can get us around the engines much quicker, ’cause there’s a problem with the type of engine going into space nowadays…But in the end, I think we can have a good hookup because of the new foils that are coming up.'”

Following the oratory example, the onetime commander-in-chief lauded, “And I’m hearing everything that’s going through his mind. But he is like, he’s a super genius guy.”

Of course, Musk, who’d enthusiastically thrown his support behind Trump with an endorsement within hours of the July 13 assassination attempt on the GOP leader’s life, had his own fun with the president after their wildly successful Spaces conversation on X.

Sharing an update to a popular video with each of their heads superimposed on the bodies of dancers performing to the Bee Gees “Stayin’ Alive,” the Tesla CEO had joked, “Haters will say this is AI.”

As for the Spaces chat that had initially been the target of a denial of service attack, Trump suggested another sit down with the billionaire could be on the horizon, “I think we are going to do another one, too.”

After famously gutting the social media platform formerly known as Twitter upon his acquisition, cutting waste and expanding free speech, the potential for Musk to serve a role in a second Trump administration had also included a tongue-in-cheek post from the world’s richest man who shared an image of himself in front of a podium that read, “Department Of Government Efficiency” (D.O.G.E.) with the caption, “I am willing to serve.”

The president further lauded the entrepreneur and said, “I’m a huge fan of his electric car, I think it’s incredible, his car.”

“I think of what he does and I’m a big fan of electric, but they don’t go far, and they are expensive and China does have the material,” added Trump who maintained energy independence as a key focus.

Meanwhile, social media was absolutely ready for more interactions between the billionaires as their candor coupled with their perspective inspired the hopes of many.
