Trump jabs ‘Crooked Joe’ over impeachment report

Former President Donald Trump took a hard jab at “Crooked Joe” Biden in response to the 292-page Biden Impeachment Report released on Monday by the House  Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means committees.

The blistering report was released on the day President Biden was set to speak at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, and detailed how his family and business associates received more than $27 million through foreign business deals in recent years — par for the course for the GOP, the report is essentially meaningless now that Biden has been forced to step aside.

Trump commented on the report while campaigning in York, Pennsylvania, arguing that his new Democratic opponent, “Comrade Kamala” Harris “knew everything and the senators knew what was going on.”

“While Biden and Harris have been impoverishing our country, they have been getting rich, very rich, at your expense,” he said. “Now, it just came out, just reported yesterday by a great young reporter, Brooke Singman at FOX News… just out a little while ago. Just before I got here, and I said I want to talk about it — just briefly.”

“It is so sad because he’s going to be making his speech tonight and they don’t call him ‘Crooked Joe’ for no reason,” Trump continued. “They said President Biden engaged in impeachable conduct and said he abused his office and defrauded the United States of America to enrich his family.”

Trump pointed to $8 million in loans the Biden family reportedly received, which has gotten little attention in the media.

“Republicans reveal that since 2014, the Biden family and its associates have received more than $27 million from foreign individuals and entities,” he said of the impeachment report. “They also found that while Biden was serving as vice president, the Biden family got more than $8 million in loans from Democrat benefactors — and they said that those loans have never been repaid. Those are the best kinds of loans, aren’t they?”

The Republican nominee referenced the classified documents Biden had in his possession while noting that the vice president “knew everything.”

“They were also calling out Biden for his handling of his classified documents,” Trump noted, “and said during his tenure as vice president, Joe Biden removed highly sensitive classified documents from the White House, despite having no authority to do so. And remember, Comrade Kamala, she knew everything and the senators knew what was going on.”
