Former President Donald Trump responded to the bombshell news from the mouth of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg that the FBI essentially maneuvered to censor reporting on Hunter Biden’s infamous “laptop from hell” in the days leading up to the 2020 presidential election.
With all the media focus on election meddling these past two years, one might think this would be dominating the news cycle, yet the corporate media was quick to move in IF they covered the breaking news at all.
In Trump’s eyes, as he noted on Truth Social, this is “massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE.” What’s more, he stated that he should be declared the “rightful winner” OR a new election should be held “immediately.”
The former president posted: “So now it comes out, conclusively, that the FBI BURIED THE HUNTER BIDEN LAPTOP STORY BEFORE THE ELECTION knowing that, if they didn’t, ‘Trump would have easily won the 2020 Presidential Election.’ This is massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country. REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!”
Trump also reacted to a Washington Times report that Timothy Thibault, an FBI assistant special agent in charge, was allegedly escorted out last week after he was accused of political bias in his handling of investigations involving President Biden’s son.
Again, he said the election “was BADLY & IRREPARABLY TAINTED” by the FBI’s actions and repeated his remedy that either he be declared the winner or hold another election right away.
“The Presidential Election was BADLY & IRREPARABLY TAINTED by the FBI’s FAKE description of the ‘Laptop from Hell’ to Facebook & the LameStream Media – & for MANY other reasons as well. Declare the rightful winner, or hold a new Election, NOW! Our Country, which is failing badly, knows the ‘score,’ and will never accept Criminal Election Interference,” he wrote. “The FBI just fired its Special Agent In Charge of this outrageous & very illegal assault on the Constitution of the United States of America!”
Last week, Zuckerberg said during an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” that the FBI approached Facebook prior to the 2020 election, warning them about Russian propaganda just before the Hunter Biden laptop story dropped.
“Basically, the background here is the FBI, I think, basically came to us – some folks on our team and was like, ‘Hey, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert… We thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election. We have it on notice that, basically, there’s about to be some kind of dump of that’s similar to that. So just be vigilant,’” he told Rogan.
The New York Post report on the laptop was scuttled by Big Tech and almost the entirety of the corporate media, which blackballed the story.
“Yeah. I mean, it sucks. I mean, it turned out after the fact, I mean the fact-checkers looked into it, no one was able to say it was false, right?” Zuckerberg admitted. “So basically it had this period where it was getting less distribution.”
