Trump pulls bloated taxpayer funded Secret Service protection from Hunter and Ashley Biden

President Donald Trump has pulled Secret Service protection from Hunter and Ashley Biden after an unidentified reporter made him aware of it.

While fielding questions from the press on Monday, the reporter alerted the president that Hunter had been seen in South Africa, flanked by 18 taxpayer-funded Secret Service agents. This didn’t sit well with Trump, who said he would “look into” it.

“There were 18 Secret Service agents protecting Hunter Biden in South Africa this weekend,” the reporter said. “Who’s paying for that and do you plan to revoke the Secret Service protection?”

“Well, we have done that with many,” Trump responded. “I would say if there are 18 with Hunter Biden, that will be something I’ll look at this afternoon, ok? I just heard about it for the first time.”

Appearing to make good on that promise, Trump took to Truth Social where he posted about revoking the protection of not just Hunter, but Ashley Biden as well

“Hunter Biden has had Secret Service protection for an extended period of time, all paid for by the United States Taxpayer. There are as many as 18 people on this Detail, which is ridiculous! He is currently vacationing in, of all places, South Africa, where the Human Rights of people has been strenuously questioned,” the president posted. “Because of this, South Africa has been taken off our list of Countries receiving Economic and Financial Assistance. Please be advised that, effective immediately, Hunter Biden will no longer receive Secret Service protection. Likewise, Ashley Biden who has 13 agents will be taken off the list.”

Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi stated that the agency will “comply” with Trump’s order.

“We are aware of the President’s decision to terminate protection for Hunter and Ashley Biden,” he said. “The Secret Service will comply and is actively working with the protective details and the White House to ensure compliance as soon as possible.”

Agents currently assigned to the Biden children are not going to be able to leave their posts until the necessary paperwork is filled out and formalized, according to The New York Post‘s report.
