Days after being briefed about “real and specific threats” from Iran to assassinate him, former President Donald Trump noted the irony in security protection for the Iranian president while in the U.S.
The Republican presidential nominee railed against the terrorist-sponsoring regime even as Iran ramps up its anti-American rhetoric with a chilling social media post that has raised concerns.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkiannwas was in New York this week where he addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. The Iranian leader was provided a large security detail which caught the attention of the former president who just survived two assassination attempts against him.

“Meanwhile, we have the president of Iran in our country this week, we have large security forces guarding him, and yet they’re threatening our former president and the leading candidate to become the next president — certainly a strange set of circumstances,” Trump said to supporters in a speech in the battleground state of North Carolina on Wednesday.
Wow. The President of Iran is being protected by the Secret Service this week at the United Nations while Iran plots to assassinate President Trump and hacks his campaign.

Potential assassination plots by Iran were revealed in FBI documents released earlier this month.
Trump addressed the threats in his speech, putting the Islamic nation on notice by warning that if he or other leaders were to be harmed, “We are going to blow your largest cities and the country itself to smithereens.”
“But right now, we don’t have the leadership necessary to do that,” the former president said. “We have two people, not one, that only keep looking, and when you do that, trouble always ensues.”

Trump went on to urge that “we all need to pull together” to end such threats and “bring back American strength, power, and prestige,” which he reminded have been decimated under the current administration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Kamala, the sitting VP, still hasn’t addressed the fact that Iran is trying to assassinate President Trump or how the Administration she leads plans to shut it down. Where is her warning to Iran? What is her message to America?
Disqualifying weakness. Shameful and disqualifying.

The former president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr. shared a disturbing video that resurfaced on X that he said “was posted on the Ayatollah’s website.”
“I guess we should expect nothing less from a terrorist regime. My father had Iran almost bankrupt… then the Biden/Harris administration game (sic) them billions making the world a far more dangerous place,” he wrote. “Enough!”

The animation, which was posted to Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei’s website in January 2022, shows an assassination attempt on Trump as he is playing golf. It is a chilling depiction to re-appear so soon after the second attempt on Trump’s life while he played golf in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The video animation ends with the message, “Revenge is Definite,” evidently a reference to the US-directed assassination of Gen. Qassem Soleimani in January 2020 while Trump was still in office.
“There have been two assassination attempts on my life that we know of, and they may or may not involve, but possibly do, Iran, but I don’t really know,” Trump told supporters in Mint Hill, NC on Wednesday.
