President Donald Trump celebrated America’s return to merit during a rally in Dalton, Georgia.
After years of watching DEI standards oppress qualified candidates who were unfortunate enough to be born the “wrong” gender or race, Trump supporters cheered his declaration that the country has finally returned to a merit-based system.

🚨 TRUMP: “OUR COUNTRY IS NOW BASED ON MERIT.”
President Trump said he got to the White House at 4:48 in the morning, and a soldier announced, “448, President has arrived.” His reaction: “That’s the coolest thing I’ve ever heard.”
Then he got to the real point, praising the Supreme Court’s ruling: “Everything now is based on merit. The military, jobs, college.”
That’s how it should be. The kid with straight A’s and a 1600 gets the seat. The strongest soldier gets the job. You earn your spot by being the best, not by checking a box.
Merit is back in America, and the left can’t stand it.

“Everything’s so perfect. All I had to do is go to sleep, relax for a couple of nights; sleep, sleep, sleep. As opposed to yesterday, you probably read, people are impressed, I’m not impressed. But I got in, they said, ‘Sir, it’s 4:48,'” the president said. “I’m walking through the door of the White House; it’s actually a very cool place, I have to tell you. So I’m walking in at four o’clock in the morning, 4:48 to be exact, and there’s a handsome soldier like all these guys.”
“You know we’re on the merit system now, we won in the Supreme Court, everything’s based on merit,” he added. “So we’re allowed to have big, strong, handsome soldiers now. We want strong soldiers, we want soldiers that can fight. So anyway, there’s a couple of soldiers, and they go, ‘0448, President has arrived.’ I said that’s the coolest thing I’ve ever heard. They never did that when I walk into Trump Tower. They never did that when I walk into Mar-a-Lago, and these guys are sent from casting; you couldn’t hire guys who look this good. ”
“But you know we did; we won merit. We have a country now like in the old days, based on merit. It’s based on who has the best marks to get into college, and who has the best boards, and who has the best of everything. You don’t have people getting in with a C and low boards and a guy with A+s up and down the line, 1600 on their college boards, and they don’t have a chance of getting in. Everything now is based on merit. The military, jobs, college,” he said, as the audience cheered.
