Trump shares urgent message for ‘liberal Jews who voted to destroy America’

Former President Donald Trump’s statement to “liberal Jews” marking their New Year celebration was met with antisemitic backlash despite the glaringly obvious content.

Sunday marked the conclusion of Rosh Hashanah as members of the Jewish faith commemorated the creation of the world before a period of repentance set to culminate with Yom Kippur the following week. Trump’s acknowledgment of the holy day came with an added shot at leftist believers courtesy of the conservative Jewish movement JEXIT.

Sharing a post from the organization aimed at encouraging liberal Jews to abandon the Democratic Party, the president posted an image from the group to Truth Social with the header, “Just a quick reminder for liberal Jews who voted to destroy America & Israel because you believed false narratives! Let’s hope you learned from your mistake & make better choices moving forward! Happy New Year!”

Naturally, leftist talking heads and corporate media outlets like Rolling Stone and The Jerusalem Post saw fit to jump on the social media message as though it were a bigoted attack.

Political writer David Weissman offered, “Idiots are asking me how is Trump a Nazi. Gee, I wonder? Is it the fact that in his Truth Social post, he called us liberal Jews sheep? Or claim that we are destroying America? Or is the audacity that he made Rosh Hashana about himself?”

Another leftist influencer called attention to NBC, already taking heat over having Trump as a guest on Kristen Welker’s first installment as host of “Meet the Press” and said, “HEY NBC: I want to bring to your attention that Donald Trump recently shared an offensive post on Rosh Hashanah, in which he accused ‘liberal Jews’ of attempting to ‘destroy America’ and encouraged them to ‘make better choices in the future.’ It is disheartening to witness the minimal resistance in giving a national platform to someone with such Nazi-like views.”

Readily ignored by those pushing the negative story over Trump’s post was the actual content of the message from JEXIT that highlighted the contradictory support of “liberal Jews” by laying out some of what the president had done, “Wake Up Sheep. What Natzi / Anti Semite ever did this for the Jewish people or Israel?”

Joking that Trump is “Clearly, one of the greatest Anti Semites of our time!” the post rattled off a slew of accomplishments during his administration starting with “#1 Trump moves the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem which is Israel’s true capital. No other president had the balls to do it.”

It continued, “#2 Trump recognizes Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights. #3 Trump recognizes Israel’s sovereignty over settlements in Judea & Samaria.”

The fourth point noted the signing of “an executive order for Judaism to be a nationality in addition to a religion so it would fall under the category Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. That act prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color and national origin in programs receiving federal financial assistance. Institutions that violate Title VI may lose their federal funding. This means that BDS will have a hard time harassing Jewish students on college campuses.”

Lastly, the post said, “#5 May 2020 — Trump Signs the ‘Never Again’ Education bill into law which [allocates] millions of dollars to expand Holocaust awareness and create websites with curriculum tools for teachers nationwide!”

Since the original post had preceded the 2020 presidential election, JEXIT went on to add the Abraham Accords to the list of accomplishments as they shared their support for Trump’s 2024 campaign and called to “preserve & restore the JUDEO-CHRISTIAN values this country was found upon.”
