Former President Donald J. Trump lashed out at FBI Director Christopher Wray after the nation’s top cop promoted the conspiracy theory that he wasn’t hit by a bullet in the failed assassination attempt two weeks ago.
Having seen the best chance to have Trump taken out in the most extreme manner possible narrowly miss, Democrats and their media stooges are now hard at work to change the narrative about the shooting by casting doubt on whether the sniper’s shot grazed the Republican nominee’s ear.
It’s one thing for the likes of MSNBC’s Joy Reid to foment the conspiracy theory and quite another for the head of the FBI to add his voice to the mix which he did during congressional testimony this week.
“FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!), but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively ‘uneventful’ – Wrong!” Trump wrote in a smoking hot Truth Social post on Thursday.

“That’s why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our Country at record levels. His only focus is destroying J6 Patriots, Raiding Mar-a-Lago, and saving Radical Left Lunatics, like the ones now in D.C. burning American flags and spray painting over our great National Monuments – with zero retribution,” he added, referring to the pro-Hamas miscreants who ran amok in the nation’s capital to protest Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit.
“No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a ‘bullet wound to the ear,’ and that is what it was. No wonder the once storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!” Trump said.
“With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,” Wray said during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday, serving up officially sanctioned fodder for the left-wing smear machine.
By seeking to portray him as a liar, the party of the Big Lie is determined to neutralize the political benefit from the iconic picture of a bloodied Trump thrusting his fist in the air after the bullet came perilously close to blowing his head off on live television.

It is an image so powerful, that some have even likened it to the famous picture of U.S. Marines planting the flag on Iwo Jima during World War II and therefore it must be discredited.
“We still don’t know for sure whether Donald Trump was hit by a bullet,” MSNBC’s Reid said in a recent video shared on social media. “We know almost nothing.”
Wray’s conspiracy-mongering may be seized on by leftists but it won’t do much to reverse the perception that the Bureau has been polluted by politics under his tenure and functions as the de facto secret police for the Democratic Party.
