Trump takes Karl Rove to the woodshed for saying his confidential docs worse than Biden’s

Fox News’ favored white board-toting political consultant Karl Rove attempted to paint President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents in a softer light than that of former President Donald Trump and that wasn’t suffered silently.

“Karl Rove was, as usual, wrong…”

Of what little has been revealed about classified documents discovered in November at Biden’s former office at the University of Pennsylvania’s Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, corporate media has been more than willing to run interference. Among them was Rove, living up to his nickname of “turd blossom” granted by former President George W. Bush, who admitted facts remained unknown when he tried to assert Trump’s document possession was worse.

The pundit had tried to draw distinctions to Fox News host Dana Perino Tuesday on “America’s Newsroom” and said, “For example, how many documents in Biden’s case, there appear to be about 10. In the case of President Trump, hundreds. How did they get there? We don’t yet know how the documents got to the Biden office connected with his activities on behalf of the University of Pennsylvania. We know that President Trump ordered the removal of the documents to Mar-a-Lago.”

“But still, despite the differences,” Rove continued after contending Trump had not been responsive to requests from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) regarding a cache of documents being stored at his Mar-a-Lago residence, “this is gonna create lots of headaches for the Department of Justice in deciding how to handle President Trump’s issues, because now they have an issue that…[at] least in the minds of a lot of ordinary Americans, are going to be conflated as being roughly the same.”

Trump was matter-of-fact when he dismantled Rove’s argument, posting on Truth Social, “Karl Rove was, as usual, wrong when he stated that then V.P. Biden’s HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL papers, which were in his office for many years, were in any way similar to the Secret Service guarded, & otherwise very secure, Mar-a-Lago papers. Biden was not then President, had no power to declassify, & came under the very tough Federal Records Act. I come under the much more generous Presidential Records Act, was having productive discussions with Radical Left NARA, & did everything right. A giant Scam.”

Biden has claimed ignorance regarding the documents and went as far as to say during a joint news conference with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, “My lawyers have not suggested I ask what documents they were.”

However, the former president wasn’t buying that either as he continued making the case for his successor’s corruption, raising the reported subject of some of the documents and lasting concerns over foreign influence over the likes of Biden and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and his wife, former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao.

“Biden’s documents are HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL, many pertain to UKRAINE, where Hunter was ‘raking in the dough,’ and FUNDED BY CHINA, which gave $55 Million to Biden, through Penn, and probably had easy access,” Trump wrote before positing, “Was the Old Crow’s boss, China loving Coco Chow, involved? Just asking?”
