Former President Donald Trump put Hamas in the crosshairs with a promise on how he would respond to any “drop of American blood” shed at the hands of the enemy.

A bevy of prominent GOP figures converged on Las Vegas, Nevada Saturday to join the Republican Jewish Coalition for their annual summit. With President Joe Biden’s foreign policy failing in a tragic way, Trump took his opportunity among the 2024 primary candidates to address the gathering to paint the stark contrast in the years since his administration.
In particular, the GOP frontrunner harkened back to the message popularized by President Ronald Reagan regarding “peace through strength” with some targeted points directed at Hamas and their sympathizers.
“When I’m back in the White House, America’s enemies will now, once again — and they’re gonna know it — that if you try to kill our citizens, we will kill you. We will kill you,” he expressed. “I told them all that.”
Asserting that the turmoil on the world stage including the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, the war in Ukraine and the recent tragedy in Israel would not have happened under his watch, Trump went on to caution, “If you spill a drop of American blood, we will spill a gallon of yours.”
The former commander-in-chief also didn’t pull punches as he leveled who was at fault for both the more than 1,400 deaths from the Oct. 7 attacks and those that followed as Israel retaliated to maintain their defense.
“Every single life that is lost in this conflict is on the shoulders of Hamas and Hamas alone…and I think you have to really add in the word Iran,” Trump told the crowd.
He also contended, “Let there be no doubt, the killers responsible for this massacre will burn forever in the eternal pit of hell.”
The remarks came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had said earlier in the week, “We have set two goals for this war: To eliminate Hamas by destroying its military and governing abilities and to do everything possible to bring out captives home. All Hamas terrorists are dead men walking — above ground, below ground, outside Gaza.”
With sympathizers cropping up in cities across the nation, Trump voiced his favor, as other primary candidates had, for sending foreign nationals, like college students in the U.S. on visas, packing if they are on the side of terrorists.
“We’ll terminate the visas of all of Hamas’ sympathizers, and we’ll get them off our college campuses, out of our cities and get them the hell out of our country, if that’s OK with you,” he remarked.
As a result, the Biden administration took the opportunity to attempt a hit on Trump returning to the tired talking points about the travel ban that had been instituted. Aimed at protecting the U.S. from infiltrating terrorists, the left had dubbed Trump’s travel ban a Muslim ban and White House spokesperson Andrew Bates used that language and more in opposing common sense measures that would protect American citizens.
“The need to come together against rancid hate is more pressing now than ever, as American Muslims and Arab Americans increasingly find themselves the targets of appalling smears and heartbreaking violence — including the barbaric killing of a 6-year-old child,” the spokesman said referencing the tragic stabbing of a child in Illinois by his mother’s landlord.

“In office, President Biden has taken unprecedented action against Islamophobia, and more will follow. These disgraceful attacks against Arab Americans and the Muslim community are the opposite of what we stand for as a country, and they must be forcefully condemned by all Americans who, like President Biden, believe in human dignity,” continued Bates. “The spike in Islamophobic incidents is a direct attack on the character of our nation. It’s critical that we give hate no safe harbor.”
