Trump tears into ‘Lethargic Coward’ Bill Barr after he floats ‘obstruction’ on CNN

In case you were wondering how former President Donald Trump feels about former Attorney General Bill Barr, you need only look at Trump’s Friday morning Truth Social post in which he held absolutely nothing back.

Bill Barr, Trump wrote, is nothing short of a “Stone Cold LOSER!”

What’s more, he’s a “Slovenly, Lethargic Coward.”

The blistering insults followed an appearance by Barr on Thursday’s edition of “CNN Primetime” with Kaitlan Collins during which he said the government likely has “strong evidence of obstruction” in the case involving the classified documents found at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

“I think, in this case, the underlying offense was his having these documents, which he shouldn’t have had, and he was subpoenaed,” Barr said. “And if he doesn’t provide them and hides them from the government, there’s both an underlying offense and there’s the offense of obstruction. But the thing that I think actually brings this — that raises this and makes it a more significant threat is the obstruction aspect of it.”

While Barr didn’t directly trash his former boss, he did say he believes “there’s a high risk here.”

“Just based on the government’s conduct here, I suspect that they have some evidence of — that they would consider to be strong evidence of obstruction,” he said. “And that’s why I feel that this is probably the most threatening case.”

Trump’s rage was palpable.

“So many legal scholars & pundits have viewed my lawsuit against lying, convicted felon, Michael Cohen, a disbarred lawyer, as being meritorious – a very good one,” he began. “Some have stated, ‘It’s about time!'”

“Slovenly, Lethargic Coward, Bill Barr, who didn’t have the ‘guts’ to fight election fraud, & more, because he was afraid he was going to be impeached by the Radical Left Lunatics – The Democrats – disagrees,” Trump continued. “Barr is a Globalist RINO spokesman for Fox & the WSJ. He is a Stone Cold LOSER!”

While many cheered the embattled presidential candidate for his assessment of Barr, others wondered why Trump didn’t realize that Barr was a RINO (Republican In Name Only) before he appointed him A.G.

After all, Barr had previously served under former President George H.W. Bush, arguably one of the most rabid RINOs to ever emerge from the D.C. Swamp.

“Still can’t believe Trump picked him for AG,” one Twitter user stated.


It isn’t the first time Trump has referred to Barr as “slovenly.” Nor was it the first time he called him a “coward” and a “RINO.”

He called him all three — this week, alone — tossing in the word “pathetic” for good measure.

As BizPac Review reported, Trump hurled the insults at Barr after the A.G. appeared on the Easter morning edition of ABC’s “This Week” and declared that the politically-motivated cases against Trump will “gravely weaken” him in the 2024 general election.

 

Trump took to Truth Social then, too, writing:

Slovenly and pathetic Bill Barr, our COWARD former A.G., was on ABC FAKE NEWS this weekend making statements that he knows nothing about (he was long since gone from the White House, I wanted him out!) concerning the BOXES HOAX, a continuation of RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, UKRAINE, UKRAINE, UKRAINE, the Mueller Witch Hunt, & more. While he correctly puts down the N.Y.D.A. case, he plays up the equally ridiculous BOXES HOAX, where Biden should have the problem, not me. Barr is a weak & angry RINO!
