Trump trolls Christie with an extremely unflattering photo after terminal disease diagnosis

If there’s one thing that GOP presidential candidate Chris Christie deserves credit for it’s his tenaciousness and not deviating one inch from his sole mission in life, attacking former President Donald J. Trump.

The former New Jersey governor stayed on the topic but with a slightly different spin during a Monday interview with conservative talk radio host Hugh Hewitt, warning that if elected next year, Trump could stock his administration with what he called “deranged sycophants.”

“Do you think we ought to have more clarity on who’s coming in with the team?” Hewitt asked his guest.

“Yes, I think I do,” Christie answered. “And I think if that were something that people got a little bit of notice on, let’s say before the next set of debates, where there might be a question on the kind of people you would consider,” seemingly presuming that Trump would choose to participate.

“Then you could have the time to at least give those people a heads-up that their name would be thrown out in front of millions of people on national television,” he continued. “But I absolutely think it’s important because look, the guy who can answer that question is Donald Trump.”

“Because forty of his forty-four cabinet level people have said not only that they wouldn’t work for him again, they wouldn’t vote for him. And so who’s he going to bring in?” Christie asked. “Is this going to be the Kash Patels of the world? The Jeffrey Clarks of the world? The Michael Flynns of the world are going to be the people who are going to populate the next Trump administration, a bunch of deranged sycophants who will just do whatever the masters tell them to do regardless of the law and the Constitution?”

“I’d answer these questions because I want Trump to answer these questions,” he said.

Even though the GOP frontrunner wasn’t on the stage at last week’s presidential primary debate at the University of Alabama, the one-issue candidate railed against him in absentia.

“The truth needs to be spoken, he is unfit,” Christie said.

Trump punched back by turning the blustery former governor’s own words against him, along with a rather unflattering picture of the candidate who has been engaged in a long-running battle with his bathroom scale, one that he is unfortunately losing.

“Not fit for office, mentally or physically. We need strong people not suffering from a harsh terminal disease, TDS, TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social and Instagram.

Monday’s post was a follow-up to a meme of his political foe and the classic Clint Eastwood western “The Outlaw Josey Wales” mocking Christie as the “Outlaw Jersey Whale.”

Trump has frequently jabbed Christie about his weight including a doctored video of the underdog candidate’s campaign rollout speech showing him hoisting an overflowing plate of food in a buffet line and mocking him as a “fat pig” during his appearances, a fat-shaming line that audiences have eaten up.
