Trump turns tables on Dems’ tax return ‘witch-hunt,’ calls on GOP-led House to demand Biden’s ‘financial records’

Never one to cower in a defensive position, former President Donald Trump has recorded another explosive campaign video in which he pushes back against the Democrats’ “deranged” pursuit of his tax returns and calls on incoming GOP House members to demand the financial records of President Joe Biden and his “entire criminal enterprise.”

Breitbart News got an exclusive look at the new video, which came after members of the Democrat-led House Means and Ways Committee voted along party lines on Tuesday to release Trump’s long-sought-after 2015-2020 tax returns.

On Friday, Trump, who remains thus far the only Republican challenger to enter the race for the White House, torched the “radical Democrats” for their unrelenting “witch-hunt,” calling the move “an outrageous abuse of power.”

“There is no legitimate legislative purpose for their action, and if you look at what they’ve done, it’s so sad for our country,” Trump said. “It’s nothing but another deranged political witch-hunt, which has been going on from the day I came down the escalator in Trump Tower.”

“Although these tax returns contain relatively little information and not information that almost anybody would understand — they’re extremely complex — the radical Democrats’ behavior is a shame upon the U.S. Congress,” he stated.

And then he urged Republicans in the next Congress to commit the same shameful sin and demand Biden’s records.

“The new Republican House should immediately obtain the financial records of Joe Biden and his entire criminal enterprise, because that’s exactly what it is,” Trump said. “Biden is a corrupt politician who spent years selling out America all over the world, including to Communist China.”

Granted, the case for seeking Joe Biden’s financial records is far more compelling than the case against Trump, given all that we are learning about Hunter Biden’s shady foreign deals, in which 10% was set aside for “the Big Guy” — a fact the former president was all too willing to hammer home.

“Just take a look at his accounts, take a look at all of his homes, and take a look at what his son, Hunter, has contributed to the family,” Trump stated. “The American public deserves to know the truth.”

“We should also get to the bottom line on how Biden, on a salary of a U.S. Senator, was able to buy one mansion after another, all these different locations,” he added. “When I’m president, we will expose the Washington cartel, and we will Make America Great Again.”

The call to action from Trump is sure to bring cheers from his supporters, but, in many respects, Trump is preaching to the choir.

As American Wire has reported, as the incoming chair of the powerful House Oversight Committee, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) has vowed to dig deep into both Joe Biden and the Biden family, including, of course, Hunter.

 

According to Comer, as Vice President under Barack Obama, Biden was very much involved in a “potentially criminal” 2017 deal that saw millions of dollars flow between China’s CEFC, an energy conglomerate, and the Biden family via Hudson West III, an LLC Hunter managed and invested in.

“This is China trying to buy ownership into our American industry, which is a national security threat — and oh by the way it was being conducted by Joe Biden,” said Comer. “That’s a problem and that’s why we’re concerned that this White House is compromised.”

And the Kentucky Rep. has clearly stated that he intends to take the investigation all the way to its logical conclusion.

“If evidence justifies it, then we will have criminal referrals,” he told the New York Post.

Online, many like the idea of getting a look at Biden’s financials.

“I could get behind a release of ALL Biden financials including his kickbacks from Hunter’s shell companies!” wrote one Twitter user. “It’s time to get in the game and play hardball against these corrupt traitors!”
