Republican frontrunner Donald J. Trump warned donors to his sole remaining rival that they now risk being “barred from the MAGA camp” if they continue to prop up Nikki Haley.
The day after the former president decisively won the New Hampshire primary against the former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, he took to Truth Social to blast Haley for her reaction to the loss, putting her donors on notice that the Trump train is leaving the station and that now is the time to choose whether they’ll be on it.
“Nikki ‘Birdbrain’ Haley is very bad for the Republican Party and, indeed, our Country. Her False Statements, Derogatory Comments, and Humiliating Public Loss, is demeaning to True American Patriots. Her anger should be aimed at her Third Rate Political Consultants and, more importantly, Crooked Joe Biden and those that are destroying our Country – NOT THE PEOPLE WHO WILL SAVE IT,” Trump wrote on Wednesday night.

“I knew Nikki well, she was average at best, is not the one to take on World Leaders, and she never did. That was up to me, and that is why they respected the United States. When I ran for Office and won, I noticed that the losing Candidate’s “Donors” would immediately come to me, and want to ‘help out.’ This is standard in Politics, but no longer with me,” he said. “Anybody that makes a ‘Contribution’ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp. We don’t want them, and will not accept them, because we Put America First, and ALWAYS WILL!”
Trump’s win in New Hampshire was a major blow to the narrative engineers after his own supporters turned out in large enough numbers to thwart the army of Democrats and independents who cast their vote for Haley in the state’s open primary.
A CNN exit poll showed that 70 percent of those who voted for Haley were not registered Republicans, likely meaning that her strong 43 percent showing won’t replicate itself in upcoming contests in states that have more traditional primary systems.
Despite the devastating loss, Haley was criticized for delivering a victory-style speech after the results were in, viciously attacking Trump and vowing to stay in the race.
Haley reacted to Trump’s warning to her donors by begging for even more money, tweeting out a link to her donation page,
Well in that case…donate here. Let’s Go!❤️ https://t.co/T29l0DdrKv https://t.co/RvbLoL8oOd

According to the New York Post, Haley has “nearly a dozen fundraisers” scheduled between now and next month’s South Carolina primary where Trump has a strong base of support in the state that she once governed.
“On Jan. 30 in New York City, billionaires including Leonard Stern, Cliff Asness, Stanley Druckenmiller, Ken Langone and Henry Kravis are co-hosting an event for the former South Carolina governor,” the outlet reported. “On Feb. 6, Silicon Valley mogul Tim Draper is hosting Haley in Atherton, Calif. On Feb. 15, Haley also is slated to be feted in Dallas by real estate tycoon Harlan Crow, according to an invitation reviewed by On The Money.”
“Elsewhere, Haley is scheduled for fundraisers from Greenville, SC to Houston to San Antonio, with hosts including real estate magnate Ross Perot Jr., French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s ex-wife Cécilia Attias, Susan Rockefeller, GOP strategist Karl Rove’s wife Karen, and former US Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.),” according to the outlet which cited invitations that it had obtained.
One major Haley donor, left-wing billionaire Reid Hoffman who has also funded E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuit against Trump has already paused his donations, CNBC reported.
