Tucker Carlson resurrects Epstein death case after requesting 911 calls from jail

Fox News host Tucker Carlson brought up the death of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein on Wednesday, noting that his team called the NYPD to get a copy of the 911 calls made from the prison where he was held when he died under suspicious circumstances, and was informed that they have been deleted.

“It’s approaching four years since Jeffrey Epstein died in detention in New York City. It’s very obvious he was killed. The more you look at the details, and we have, the more clear it is that somebody got inside the most secure federal lock-up in our most populated city and murdered Jeffrey Epstein. But who?” Carlson asked.

“Well, the Department of Justice is in charge of finding out who, of course. And they say they’ve had an investigation for almost four years. So, periodically we reach out to the DOJ and ask, ‘How’s the Epstein investigation going?'” he noted and then started laughing.

Carlson did not seem surprised in the least when the DOJ updated him on the Epstein case.

“We called today again. They told us they would complete and publish their report soon,” he noted.

“We also thought it would be worth reaching out to the NYPD and wanted to know what was said in any 911 calls from the federal lock-up in New York on the day that Epstein was found dead. NYPD has just turned over one of those calls to us and it reveals the truth. Here it is,” Carlson continued.

He then played a sound clip of a busy signal with a graphic depicting the NYPD shield overlaid on a prison.

“Oh, just kidding! We can’t play that 911 call for you because it’s been deleted. Really! Just like the videotape. Why? Because we’re quote, ‘Well past the 12-month retention period,'” Carlson recounted, making it quite clear that he’s not surprised at all.

“So, it looks like the NYPD deleted the recordings of 911 calls from the jail. So, we thought, well, how about the FBI? We called over to the FBI to say, ‘Do you have any 911 recordings from the jail, from the federal lock-up?’ And we got no response,” he commented.

It looks like Carlson is not ready to drop reporting on the case, however. It appears he will be a thorn in the side of those covering up the mysterious death of Epstein who would rather the story just went away.

No one seems interested anymore, but we’re interested,” Carlson concluded.

The most recent development in the case has to do with JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon being deposed over what he knew about the bank’s relationship with former client Jeffrey Epstein.

The bank is facing lawsuits seeking damages by women who claim that Epstein sexually abused them, and by the U.S. Virgin Islands, where the late financier had a home, according to Reuters.

JPMorgan is also suing former private banking chief Jes Staley. The bank asserts he concealed what he knew about Epstein and should be forced to cover losses it may incur in the two lawsuits.

Staley, who was Barclays CEO from 2015 to 2021, has expressed regret for being friendly with the known pedophile.

“The plaintiffs’ counsel knows our CEO has no relevant knowledge but persists with this media stunt,” JPMorgan said in a statement. “A review of more than two decades of emails and other documents makes it clear that he had no involvement with Epstein or his accounts. He does not recall ever meeting, speaking, or communicating with him.”
