UFC’s Dana White goes SCORCHED EARTH on media

UFC president Dana White unloaded on the media as “f—ing zeros” whose opinions do not and should not matter.

In a scorching rant during an appearance on Barstool’s “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast, the CEO and president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship delivered a brutal reality check on the media and its current state of irrelevance in today’s divided political climate.

In responding to a question about how he has adapted to media and technology changes over his years in the business, White explained that he likes to talk to fans and consumers without a “middle man.”

“Realistically, when you look at it right now, the two most hated people on the planet right now are the media and politicians,” he said. “Nobody trusts them, nobody likes them.”

He elaborated on how the mainstream media attacks on his organizations and ultimately the media’s role during the COVID-19 pandemic sealed the deal for the 54-year-old and he asserted that outlets “don’t have the influence or the power that they think they do.”

He maintained that the media should have no power over one’s decisions and called out the “cancel culture bullsh–.”

Earlier, White torched the media when he discussed the success of Power Slap, his fighting promotion company, with hosts NFL players Will Compton & Taylor Lewan.

“If the media tells you you’ve got something that is going to fail, it’s definitely going to f—ing win,” White said.

**WARNING: Language**

“The media are the dumbest, know nothing, do nothing, never f—ing built nothing motherf—ers on planet Earth,” he continued.

“So when they say it isn’t going to work, you’ve got a f—ing home run man. Jump in and grind,” he exclaimed with a laugh.

“Think about who these people are. When you really think about, ‘the media,’ who are they?” he asked before unrolling a laundry list of other questions.

“Where do they come from? Why does their opinion matter? What have they ever done? What have they ever created?” he continued.

“What have they ever built? Who’s ever depended on a paycheck from the media? Nobody,” White added.

“They are a bunch of f—ing zeroes that sit around and write stories about people who are actually doing sh–,’ he said.

White has taken heat over the years for being a supporter of former President Donald Trump, someone he has referred to as a friend. White accompanied Trump along with Kid Rock and Tucker Carlson in a grand entrance to the UFC 295, a mixed martial arts event held in New York City’s  Madison Square Garden this month.

White’s criticism of the media is no new thing, as he has regularly called out outlets for not properly doing their jobs. And he recently spoke about what he told a sponsor who told him he needed to remove a video of Trump at the fight from his social media account.

“I posted a video of Trump on my personal social media. One of our big sponsors called and said, ‘Take that down.’ You know what I said? ‘Go f*** yourself,'” White recounted on a podcast hosted by comedian Theo Von.

“You vote for whoever you want to vote for, and I’ll vote for whoever I want to vote for. That’s how this works. I don’t even care who you’re voting for, it’s none of my f***ing business. F*** you. Don’t ever f***ing call me and tell me who to vote for,” he added.
