UFO tracker pegs thousands of ‘extremely scary’ underwater objects along US coast

Amid reports of “scary” unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), a tracker accounted for thousands of underwater sightings within particular areas of the United States.

Nearly a year after the American people were left guessing about mysterious drones, some of which had shut down airfields only to later be reported as FAA cleared, concerns about what used to be referred to as UFOs have not dissipated. In fact, as some set their gazes heavenward to an interstellar object, others were looking off the coast of the United States, where more than 9,000 sightings of unidentified submersible objects (USOs) have been recorded as of August 2025.

Those figures were compiled by Enigma Labs, which credits itself as the “largest global, standardized repository of anomalous sightings,” as details of the report were covered by Marine Technology News, which stated, “More than 150 reports describe objects hovering above or ascending into or descending from bodies of water. The U.S. states with the most USO reports are California (389) and Florida (306) …”

Included was a June 11, 2023, sighting near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where green lights were seen beneath the water and recorded from a boat.

Among the efforts at transparency regarding unexplained phenomena, Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R), chair of the House Oversight Committee’s subcommittee Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, presented a video of an object splitting a Hellfire missile in flight and continuing on its course.

Posting the moment from the hearing, Luna detailed, “We revealed new military surveillance video showing a UAP splitting a Hellfire missile in mid-air. Not a single witness was aware of any U.S. military technology capable of such a feat. Every witness described the footage as extremely ‘scary’.”

That testimony came weeks after Harvard University’s Avi Loeb suggested an object on a trajectory to pass Mars may well be a “spacecraft powered by nuclear energy, and the dust emitted from its frontal surface might be from dirt that accumulated on its surface during its interstellar travel.”

Further, “American Alchemy” host Jesse Michels alleged during an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” that the CIA was aware of an alien base on the dark side of the Moon via its remote viewing program, whereby observations are made from a distance solely with the mind.

Meanwhile, in March 2024, retired U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet released a 29-page report through the Sol Foundation which addressed UAPs and said, “The fact that unidentified objects with unexplainable characteristics are entering US water space and the [Defense Department] is not raising a giant red flag is a sign that the government is not sharing all it knows about all-domain anomalous phenomena.”

“Pilots, credible observers, and calibrated military instrumentation have recorded objects accelerating at rates and crossing the air-sea interface in ways not possible for anything made by humans,” he reminded.
