Foaming at the mouth radical leftist screecher and former MSNBC hack Keith Olbermann is nipping at CNN anchor Jake Tapper’s ankles again after he admitted that the Durham report was “devastating” to the FBI, castigating the agency’s actions over Russia-gate and its political persecution of former President Trump.
Tapper commented on Monday when the Durham report was released that it was “devastating to the FBI and to a degree, it does exonerate Donald Trump.”
“CNN’s new scandal: @jaketapper says the Durham Report is ‘devastating to the FBI’ It isn’t. Not even close. No charges, just partisan ‘conclusions.’ And Tapper of the new non-journalistic Chris Licht CNN is propagandizing. Jake Tapper needs to resign,” Olbermann wrote, taking a poke at Chris Licht, the CEO of CNN, and Tapper.
Olbermann has also railed against Licht and CNN for hosting a recent town hall with Trump. The event set the left on fire including the bombastic podcast host who is further incensed over a rumored second town hall in the works.

I get Olbermann's of a different generation, but calling CNN's town hall a whorehouse is antiquated, offensive, and an insult to brothels which are traditionally clean establishments https://t.co/kFiDCgzc3c

CNN has an even crazier plan. It may host another Trump Town Hall. Chris Licht trial ballooned it; also officially put the hapless @kaitlancollins at 9 PM
Did I ever mention when we were at msnbc we used to think Licht ate paste? WEDS. COUNTDOWN PODCAST: https://t.co/zt1ls9mqUu pic.twitter.com/L3hmGfEzHi

The report that has set Olbermann’s hair on fire found that the Department of Justice and FBI “failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law” when it launched the investigation into the now-debunked Trump-Russia collusion hoax.
The left’s unfounded claims against Trump over Russia have now gone on for years in a massive effort to smear and delegitimize the former president while he was in and when he left office. Durham came to the conclusion that all those specious charges were based on faulty evidence. That declaration drove media outlets straight into denial and those such as Olbermann into psychotic meltdowns.
Tapper is not innocent in all of this either. In 2018, he reported on the Trump-Russia collusion scandal declaring that there was “confirmation” of the Steele dossier, according to Fox News. He did note that not all the details of the report were fully corroborated but he pushed it nonetheless.
In a rare show of bipartisan hatred of Olbermann, there were a number of Democrats and liberals who tore into the soft underbelly of the unhinged talking head.
Investigative reporter Matt Taibbi tweeted, “Keith, @JakeTapper is right. And the report isn’t just devastating to the FBI, it’s devastating to media figures who ran bogus stories that were either leaked by the Bureau, or laundered through it.”
Taibbi then cited a number of instances where Olbermann previously pushed false drivel concerning Trump.

Liberal journalist Eli Lake, who serves as contributing editor at Commentary tweeted, “This is the first resistance in the history of resistance to align itself with a federal police force. To call Keith a buffoon is an insult to buffoonery.”
Trump told Fox News Digital Monday that former FBI Director James Comey and Democrats need to be held accountable for their “long-running and treasonous charade.”
“I, and much more importantly, the American public have been victims of this long-running and treasonous charade started by the Democrats — started by Comey,” Trump told Fox News Digital in an interview. “There must be a heavy price to pay for putting our country through this.”
Trump said the activities surrounding the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation were “a total disgrace,” and noted, “Public anger over this report is at a level that I have not seen before.”
“This report took a long time because John Durham is a very thorough investigator,” the former president remarked. “But the result is unequivocal and an absolute disaster in terms of justice.”
He also said that “the national security implications of what they did are very grave.”
“It turned out to be a giant and very dangerous hoax,” Trump continued, adding that he would have “further comment in the near future.”
As Olbermann rages in his basement, the Durham report’s repercussions are spreading and Tapper won’t be the last one on the left to finally admit that there was a political witch hunt against Trump.
