Curt Schilling calls out Dan Crenshaw for angry tweets on exposed corruption: ‘F—ing do something!’

Conservative commentator Curt Schilling is fed up with tough talk from Republicans over the release of the Durham report detailing the push of the debunked Trump-Russia collusion hoax by the left and is demanding that Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) actually do something that holds Democrats accountable.

“They all knew this was a false narrative, created by Clinton to defeat Donald Trump, and yet Brennan went before Congress and on national television to spread the lie further. He was fully aware that this story was fabricated by the Clinton campaign, but continued to perpetuate the lie as Democrats continued to waste time and taxpayer money with the Trump investigation,” Crenshaw tweeted after the report came out.

“Ok, awesome. You’ve confirmed what we knew. You being a veteran, with a decorated career I ask this with all due respect, what the hell are YOU going to do about it? Posting on Twitter is awesome to keep us informed, but I’m tired, beyond tired of hearing you and @Jim_Jordan and @RepMattGaetz and @RandPaul talk, f**king do something,” Schilling railed on Twitter.

“Isn’t that what you were elected to do? Serve the people? @realDonaldTrump if you are re elected will you commit to putting people in prison for what we now know are crimes against the state and literal treason? Starting with the Clinton’s bidens pelosi schiff and fartwell? Then Fauci and the rest of that criminal cabal,” he added.

Crenshaw has been very vocal since the report came out. In fact, he’s so angered by it, he’s calling for a “lock ‘em up” moment.

“I’ve never been a reactive ‘lock ‘em up’ type. But this Durham report is a lock ‘em up moment. We should be looking for statutes that apply to these egregious violations of public trust. If they don’t exist, it’s time we create them so it never happens again,” the Texan tweeted.

He engaged in a lengthy thread before that tearing into the Democrats over the investigation.

The Durham report released today is absolutely damning. It shows that key actors within the FBI ignored protocol to pursue a faux Russian collusion narrative, all for the purpose of taking down President Trump. Some key points from the 316 page report,” he began.

“Durham writes: ‘Based on the review of Crossfire Hurricane and related intelligence activities, we conclude that the (Justice) Department and FBI failed to uphold their important mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described in this report.’ This is a pretty huge admission. Crossfire Hurricane was the codename for the investigation into supposed ties between Trump and Russian officials to allegedly ‘interfere’ in the 2016 election,” Crenshaw commented.

“The report goes on: ‘FBI records prepared by [Peter] Strzok in February and March 2017 show that at the time of the opening of Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI had no information in its holdings indicating that at any time during the campaign anyone in the Trump campaign had been in contact with any Russian intelligence officials.’ So, the case was opened against a presidential candidate despite no factual evidence,” the congressman noted.

“He slammed FBI leaders for a ‘serious lack of analytical rigor’ and for depending on ‘investigative leads provided or funded (directly or indirectly) by Trump’s political opponents.’ He’s talking about Hillary Clinton, who paid for the bogus Steele dossier which fueled this entire witch hunt,” Crenshaw wrote.

He went on to say how frustrating it is to watch leftists smear and attempt to destroy a sitting president. Crenshaw also pointed out it has irreparably damaged Americans’ faith in the intelligence agencies and the Department of Justice.

“This report (nearly four years in the making) highlights what was obvious to all of us. Millions of taxpayer dollars were wasted investigating lies. It’s beyond infuriating that a few rogue political actors within the FBI and Justice Department have destroyed the institution’s credibility with the American people. It will take years to regain the trust of our citizens,” Crenshaw astutely pointed out.

“More disturbing – this report demonstrates how unelected, subversive actors within the highest levels of our government sought to destroy a duly-elected president they hated. They weaponized a lie – knowing the media would breathlessly regurgitate that lie – in order to take Donald Trump out of the White House. There must be consequences for this,” he concluded.

Crenshaw, who is a member of the House Intelligence Committee, also said that the Durham report will probably affect FISA reauthorization, according to The Hill.

All of what Crenshaw says here is correct. Schilling is tired of talk though and wants action. So do millions of Americans.
