GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is fearlessly taking on questions concerning the World Economic Forum, George Soros, and his stance on masks as his opponents draw out the long knives to go after him.
“We’re surging. The knives are out. ‘WEF.’ ‘Soros.’ ‘Masks.’ Here’s the TRUTH. Stay skeptical. Keep the questions coming & I’ll keep answering,” Ramaswamy vowed in a tweet he sent out with an attached video.
He is indeed surging in the polls, beating out both former Vice President Mike Pence and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley. He’s also creeping up on Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) who currently holds second place in the race for the GOP nomination next year. Former President Trump is still far ahead of everyone but he has hinted at Ramaswamy, 37, as a potential vice presidential pick for his ticket.

A recent poll released by Echelon Insights found Trump was the frontrunner at 49 percent while DeSantis notched 16 percent in second place and Ramaswamy garnered 10 percent in third. However, the numbers seem fluid and as everyone knows, polls are subjective.

Regardless, Ramaswamy is battling questions about his stance on issues head-on as his tweet indicates.
“We’re surging in the polls. The knives are coming out. The opposition research machines are churning and you know what? That’s a good thing,” Ramaswamy stated at the beginning of the video. “Because I’m running to be your next president. I want to lead this country and I better darn well be able to take some questions along the way. Stay skeptical. I would be too. Let me just address them transparently. Most popular questions we’ve gotten in order.”
“First, ‘What is my relationship with the World Economic Forum?’ Answer… none, other than being their biggest critic here in the United States. And then the reason people are asking me this though is because the World Economic Forum named me on a list of so-called ‘young global leaders.’ They did it despite the fact that I turned down their award,” he explained.
He pointed out that the WEF kept him on the list after he repeatedly asked to be removed.
“They kept my name on that list despite the fact that I repeatedly asked them to take it off because I did not share their values. I’m an opponent of it. Well, when they refused to do it, you know what I did? I sued them because I believe in taking action. That’s the World Economic Forum question,” Ramaswamy commented, wrapping up the first question.

The candidate then turned to the question of his having any connection to billionaire leftist George Soros.
“Next popular question we get is, ‘What is my connection with George Soros?’ Answer… none. Zero. Indirect, direct… zero connection with George Soros,” he emphatically stated.
“Why are people asking this question? It’s because back in 2010, by the way, long before George Soros had completely fallen off the deep end and gone into these progressive causes, funding these disastrous toxic prosecutors who are soft on crime, who I’ve also railed against, long before them in 2010, I won a scholarship when I was 24, 25 years old, headed to law school that was partly funded by not George Soros, but Paul Soros, who’s a relative, a brother of George Soros who made his money independently. Who by the way is now dead,” Ramaswamy continued.
“That funded hundreds of people. Hundreds of kids won that scholarship. I was one of them to go to graduate school at the age of 24, 25, back when I didn’t have a lot of money to do it. And you know what? If I had turned down that scholarship back then, that would have been so foolish that anyone that foolish probably should have no place anywhere near the White House doing trade deals on behalf of this country,” he said finishing the question.

Then came the topic of the pandemic and masks which Ramaswamy did not shy away from or try to sidestep.
“Next question I actually got the last few days was about a statement that I had made about masks back in early 2020. In the early stages of the pandemic. And here, I’ll admit it, my anti-government instincts got the better of me,” the candidate confessed.
“Because I don’t know if you all remember this, but back in March, April 2020, when I put that tweet out, which said that we should buy masks based on individual personal responsibility or whatever it was that I said, that was in response to the government, including Fauci and the head of the CDC laughing at people for buying masks. And telling people across this country that they shouldn’t buy masks,” he noted.
He explained that he deeply distrusts the government and his instinct is to go in the opposite direction of whatever they recommend.
“I have inherently Libertarian instincts. I’m skeptical of the government. I think the government mostly lies. And so when they were saying, ‘Don’t buy masks,’ I went the other way and said that, ‘You know what, if the government’s going to tell me not to protect myself, then maybe we should be protecting ourselves. Well, as the facts changed, so did my opinions on it. We quickly learned that masks don’t work,” Ramaswamy remarked.

“The entire time I was against mask mandates and vaccine mandates. In fact, you can take a look at my clip with Tucker in late 2020, when I was one of the early people warning against rolling out the vaccine too quickly and the risks of doing it. But that’s where I’ve been all along,” he asserted.
In a refreshing twist, Ramaswamy invites questions and seems to relish addressing them.
“So, anyway… keep the questions coming. I think skepticism is good. I think if you want to lead the free world, you better be able to handle the heat, otherwise, you get out of the kitchen. And, you know what? We’re going to keep doing this every step of the way, transparently, openly. That’s my job. Your job is to keep asking questions. Keep doing it. Stay skeptical… that’s what makes the country work,” the young entrepreneur concluded.
According to Fox News, Ramaswamy released a Supreme Court nominee list this week that included conservative lawmakers such as Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah) which has the left melting down and Americans cheering. He also wants to end the FBI which is another stance that has Democrats throwing a fit.
Ramaswamy is winning over more and more Americans:
The level of transparency were seeing from Vivek, Tulsi, and Bobby Jr. is unlike anything I’ve seen in my lifetime. Tonight, as I explore the Twitterverse, I am cautiously optimistic…
