Vice President Kamala Harris, who ridiculously declared that the southern border with Mexico was secure, was mum when asked Thursday by a reporter to comment on two buses of migrants from Texas, that arrived outside her residence at the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., earlier in the day.
The buses from Del Rio, Texas, totaling over 100 illegal immigrants, were sent by Gov. Greg Abbott and the occupants disembarked near the vice president’s residence, this coming on the heels of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sending two planes full of migrants who entered the country illegally to Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday.
“The group includes migrants from Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia and Mexico,” Fox News reported, of the migrants arriving in D.C.
Harris delivered remarks Thursday morning at a United We Stand Summit in the East Room of the White House and, as she walked out of the room, a White House pool reporter asked her to comment on the buses. Harris did not break stride as she walked on, although she looked directly at the reporter as he posed the question.
Q: Any comment on the illegal immigrants dropped off at your residence?

This is not the first time Abbott has sent busloads of migrants to Washington, as dozens of buses have been sent to the nation’s capital, New York City and Chicago in recent weeks. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser declared a public emergency last week over the arrival of these buses.
The liberal media hype machine that has all but ignored the invasion on the southern border kicked into full gear Thursday to besmirch Abbott and DeSantis for sending illegal immigrants to blue states.
NBC anchor Chuck Todd, a reliable Democratic Party mouthpiece, said Thursday it was “inhumane” to send migrants to Martha’s Vineyard because the tony island “doesn’t have any infrastructure,” never mind that overwhelmed border towns in Texas are in no better position to handle what has become a flood of humanity being enticed by President Biden’s welcoming open border policies.
Meanwhile, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre called the practice “cruel,” claiming it was “disrespectful to humanity.”
At the same time, the lawless open border enriches Mexican drug cartels and evokes massive human suffering, including widespread rape of migrants as young as 12 and death. Hundreds of migrants die making the dangerous journey to America, but this garners little media interest.
“They deserve better than being left on the streets of D.C. or being left in Martha’s Vineyard. They deserve a lot better than that,” Jean-Pierre said.
The issue of immigration took on added prominence when Harris boldly declared on national television Sunday that the border is “secure.” The remarkable claim comes despite the Federation for American Immigration Reform estimating that 4.9 million illegal immigrants have crossed into the United States since President Biden took office some 20 months ago.
The vice president, who was tapped by Biden to be his border czar, also claimed with a straight face that the border crisis created by the Biden administration was Donald Trump’s fault.
“The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular, over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed,” Harris said.

If she won’t go to the border they need to bring it to her. A slice of the massive problem.
