‘WATCH this’: Most compelling testimonies against certification, before Maricopa Co certified

Concerned citizens came out in force Monday to voice their opposition to the certification of the Arizona election, offering a rundown of the myriad reasons that led to accusations of “certifying…corruption.”

The country witnessed the reports coming in from across The Grand Canyon State on Nov. 8 of voting machines going down and Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake herself had said she traveled from her typically conservative voting place to a liberal one where, conversely, no issues were experienced.

On Monday, poll workers and others addressed Maricopa County in a plea to stop the certification that would, in part, pave the way for Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D) to become governor, until questions have been answered, and Lake highlighted “the BEST explanation.”

“STOP what you are doing and WATCH this,” she captioned the video. “This is the BEST explanation of Maricopa County Election-Day Disaster you will ever watch.”

Representing Frontline America and Real America’s Voice, one gentleman offered, “The biggest concern I have is, if this election is certified, the only parties that will benefit from this are the cartels. They’ve taken over Mexico and sadly they’ve taken over many politicians in America. What we saw on Election Day was outrageous and to say that it was anything but that is–either you think we’re stupid or you’re just that arrogant.”

Noting that “very simple questions needed to be asked,” he went on, “2020 was a disaster. How was 2022 worse?”

“You cannot say that you can certify an election when half of the voting machines were down. Was it a thousand people that were disenfranchised? Was it ten thousand of the people that were there in line or the people that didn’t show up because they saw on the news the election machines didn’t work?” the speaker asked.

Others raised concerns about singular polling locations as Turning Point USA Founder and radio host Charlie Kirk highlighted, “A Maricopa County poll observer just testified at the Board of Supervisors hearing that at 7pm there were still 675 people waiting in line when the polls closed. Only 150 people ended up voting. 525 voters were disenfranchised at one polling place! DO NOT CERTIFY.”

Another, a Maricopa County resident working as a registration clerk, explained there had been some issues with printers on Nov. 7 but, “by the end of the day we had everything functioning properly.”

However, “On the eighth, we arrived for our shift at 5:30 AM–when we started our equipment check, none of the site books would connect to the server. We couldn’t even access the time clock to punch in. These are the machines that don’t connect to the internet,” the clerk reminded, “but they wouldn’t connect to the internet, so we couldn’t start our day.”

He went on to explain that after at least 50 people had been told to wait or seek another polling location, turning away roughly 50 people, a tech had resolved the clock issue, “but there was still a communication issue with the printers. When we finally ran test prints and it looked like the issue was fixed…the printer immediately failed” to print the ballot of the first checked-in voter, requiring another fix and further delaying the process.

The Frontline America speaker contended that the supervisors had already decided to proceed before hearing these testimonies and said, “The fact that you’ve already made up your minds, you’ve already made the decision…you’ve already made your vote…you said the world is watching and you’re right. They’re watching and they’re watching this disaster play out in front of them.”

“You responded to the AG with the most pathetic inept response I’ve ever seen. You’ve not redressed the grievances of these people. That is the question and the answer that I hear from everyone across this room is you cannot certify. So the question is, what is the remedy? The fact that you were on a PAC that was going against Kari Lake…how can you say that there’s no conflict of interest?” he railed specifically against Supervisor Bill Gates who, with County Recorder Stephen Richer, had begun a political action committee (PAC) in 2021 to help campaign against candidates who do not “acknowledge the validity of the 2020 election.”

Meanwhile, Democratic Supervisor Steve Gallardo defended the board and chided Lake for allegedly selectively sharing content to sway the public. “You look at the Twitter feed of Kari Lake and the Kari Lake War Room, they put up 28 posts on Twitter of 28 people speaking with concerns and comments and yelling at us. But when it came down to answering those questions, not one tweet from Kari Lake…”

“They don’t want to let the voters know the truth,” Gallardo further alleged as he defended the “safe, secure” election.

Lake issued her own statement Monday, updating voters on her “legal case to challenge the botched elections…especially in Maricopa County where the Board of Supervisors are well aware of the catastrophic issues caused by maladministration of Supervisor Bill Gates and County Recorder Stephen Richer.”

As the Frontline America speaker concluded, “You have a secretary of state running against a gubernatorial candidate. How can you say there’s no conflict of interest? And then your machines go down on Election Day. It is absolutely outrageous. If you certify today, the only thing you’ll be certifying is your corruption.”

Ultimately, the board unanimously certified the election.
