Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents executed a pre-dawn raid in Colorado where they reportedly kicked down doors in an area known for harboring Tren de Aragua gang members.
“Just after 6 a.m., agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement descended on the Whispering Pines Apartments in Aurora, Colorado – one of three apartment buildings taken over by the gang,” Daily Mail reported Wednesday. “With a warrant in hand, ICE went door-to-door, tagging doors with red tape where no one answered and using green tape where agents did make contact with someone.”

Sources said six men were handcuffed and hauled away after ICE searched for one specific Tren de Aragua member in the apartment complex, a South American man who “had become a powerful cocaine dealer in the area,” according to Daily Mail.
The operation took place in at least eight locations in the Denver area, with one “known member” of Tren de Aragua being arrested.
“One individual who was arrested is a man from Chile who was wanted for kidnapping and extortion in another country, according to Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Tim Lenzen,” Denver7 reported.
“I won’t measure the success in the number that we have,” Lenzen said. “What I want to do is I want to measure the success in the impact that we have on the community. Our focus is public safety we are targeting those people that are threats to public safety.”

According to the outlet:
Denver7 cameras were there as operations unfolded at the Cedar Run apartments near Quebec and Leetsdale in Denver. Our crew saw people being taken from the complex in handcuffs while live on Denver7 News on Local3 just after 7 a.m.
Agents from Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, ICE, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and others were at the scene. Detainees were apparently being escorted to a bus parked outside the complex, according to Denver7 Investigator Natalie Chuck, who was first at the scene Wednesday.
Democrat Denver Mayor Mike Johnston said in a statement Wednesday that “Denver Police and city authorities were not involved in these actions, nor were we given prior notice.”
Colorado’s Democrat Governor Jared Polis said in a statement that his state would work “with federal law enforcement agencies in apprehending dangerous criminals to make Colorado safer for everyone.”
Time and again, criminal aliens prey on their own communities with sanctuary policies, knowing they’re free to commit crimes without repercussion.
