‘What is this? Don’t bother me with a question like that!’ Pelosi fumes at media peasants

Outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who asked her daughter in a just-released glowing documentary on her life if she was “a b*tch,” has not softened her touch as the end of her two-decade-long leadership of the Democratic Party nears.

At her weekly press conference, the San Francisco Democrat made it clear once again that she serves at HER pleasure, not the public when a reporter asked a rather benign question about her intentions moving forward.

“Will you commit to serving your full two-year term for the people of San Francisco?” the reporter asked.

“What is this? Don’t bother me with a question like that!” Pelosi spewed as if she were a queen granting an audience to the great unwashed peasant class — then again, perhaps it’s the media’s fault given the way they grovel at her feet.

“Really! Really. Okay? Not what I’m going to do. Yeah, I don’t — those kind of questions are such a waste of my time,” she fumed.

Pelosi was clear that she’ll do as she damn well pleases up until the very end when — speaking of groveling — a reporter said Thursday’s press conference “could be one of the last press conferences that we have with you as speaker.”

“Could be, and we may have one a day,” she shot back.

Interestingly, when asked about her legacy Pelosi was most proud of shoving Obamacare down the throats of Americans, a feat accomplished with a 219-212 vote just short of midnight after days of arm-twisting and bribing enough lawmakers to get on board — all the while as thousands of Americans stood outside the halls of Congress and protested.

“Nothing in any of the years I was there compares to the Affordable Care Act,” she said. “Expanding healthcare to tens of millions more Americans, 150 million families, having better benefits, lower costs, no preexisting condition risking their access. That really was central because it’s a health issue, economic issue, financial health issue for families. And it’s a values issue for our country.”
