While marking 365th day off IN Delaware, POTUS tweets: ‘Nothing beats summer at the White House’

President Joe Biden has been enjoying his latest extended vacation away from Washington, D.C. but the staffers who run his social media accounts apparently missed the memo, posting a tweet from Biden that seemed to be clueless of his whereabouts.

The president and First Lady Jill Biden had spent the week at their vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, DE where the octogenarian Democrat doffed his shirt to get some sun before they retreated to their Wilmington home for the remainder of their time away from the nation’s capital.

“Nothing beats summer at the White House,” tweeted “Biden” on Saturday with a picture of the POTUS and a family in front of the White House, a building that he has frequently been absent from since he was sworn in, spending more time away than any of his predecessors: a whopping 365 days of vacation since January 2021, an entire year of vacation.

Twitter/X users pounced with many pointing out that the geriatric Democrat was lounging at the beach for the majority of the week.

On Friday, Biden hit the magic number of 365 days off, a mark that was also noticed by Twitter/X users who noted that he’s now spent 39 percent of his presidency on vacation.

Biden’s 365 days off has some feeling that his regular absences beg the qeestion of who is actually running the country.

While it’s anyone’s guess, there was no shortage of suggestions.

Biden still has some time to sandwich in a bit of “summer at the White House” between his vacations in Delaware.
