White House spox KJP ridiculed for saying she ‘ran for president’: ‘Wrong clown, same circus’

While few Americans honestly believe President Joe Biden is actually posting his own tweets, understanding that in all probability it’s an elite Ivy League intern tapping away on their phone, Team Biden doesn’t have to be so clear in reinforcing that notion.

A since-deleted tweet from White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s official “X” account took the social media platform by storm after claiming that she once ran for president of the United States.

“Investing in America means investing in ALL of America,” KJP’s tweet said. “When I ran for President, I made a promise that I would leave no part of the country behind.”

We must presume that the message was intended for President Biden’s account and that whoever was behind it also controls Jean-Pierre’s account and forgot to switch accounts. Is this person Jean-Pierre or is her account also run by someone else?

One thing is certain, Wednesday’s White House press briefing should be a hoot as Jean-Pierre explains what in the dickens happened here.

The blunder comes on the heels of Jean-Pierre botching the names of both of Hawaii’s senators on Monday, while also referring to Sen. Mazie Hirono as a “he” while addressing the devastating wildfires in Maui that have left nearly 100 dead.

Suffice it to say that Biden’s spokesperson is not having a great week. Social media users were all over the snafu, questioning just who in the heck IS running this White House AND the country.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on “X.”
