‘White liberal guilt’ has ‘hurt more people than nuclear weapons,’ Carlson and Owens explore

Fox News host Tucker Carlson offered a damning assessment of white liberal guilt, suggesting that it’s more destructive than nuclear weapons.

On Tuesday night’s edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the show’s namesake cited a Politico article suggesting the Biden White House “is awash in malignant white supremacy,” as Carlson described it.

“At least 21 Black staffers have left the White House since late last year or are planning to leave soon. Some of those who remain say it’s no wonder why: They describe a work environment with little support from their superiors and fewer chances for promotion,” Politico reported earlier in the day.

Carlson featured Candace Owens, founder of Blexit, as a guest and she was quick to lament that she was not involved in strategy sessions of the White House.

“Candace, are you surprised at the racism, that the white supremacy at the White House is so intense that black staffers are fleeing for their lives?” he asked, sarcastically.

Owens said black Americans “are waking up to the lie that is Black Lives Matter” and suggested that many of those who filled these positions were hired for their skin color alone and “probably were underqualified for the positions that they even had.”

“Is there anything more destructive than White liberal guilt? It feels like it’s hurt more people than nuclear weapons,” Carlson asked.

“It really has,” replied Owens, who cited the founder of Black Lives Matter spending millions in donations on real estate.

“Even Patrisse Cullors, the person who started Black Lives Matter, basically said, ‘It’s not my fault that you guys gave me your white guilty dollars and I lied about what I did with it and bought myself an entire real estate empire.’ And that’s the truth,” Owens said.

“So it’s not just black Americans that need to have an awakening, it’s white Americans,” she added. “You know, you have to stop allowing people to manipulate you emotionally and tell you that you’re a bad person just because you’re born a certain color. And hopefully, we’re going to start to see that as we head into this election cycle.”

“People who hate themselves are not good leaders. Weak men and unhappy women, that’s the Democratic Party,” Carlson concluded.
