While the media and Democrat donors may be pining for Nikki Haley, the ladies on “The View” would much prefer a third-party run by Liz Cheney as their champion to do battle with GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump.
The disgraced former congresswoman joined the crew on Wednesday’s edition of the ABC daytime gabfest where she was fawned over by the co-hosts with the primary season set to officially kick off next Tuesday when voters go to the polls in Iowa followed by New Hampshire a week later.
Celebrated by the same people who despised her father, former VP Dick Cheney, the ex-lawmaker has been showered with glowing praise for her vendetta against Trump that culminated in her role as Nancy Pelosi’s snarling attack dog on the now-defunct J6 select committee.
The leftist hero worship of Cheney was obvious on the set of “The View” where she was treated with a fondness akin to worship when she dropped by to chat about politics with the shrieking left-wing harpies and token “conservative” Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Who’s gonna tell Whoopi that @Liz_Cheney lost by over 40 points in a congressional race?

Following a commercial break, co-host Whoopi Goldberg all but got down on her knees and begged the malicious actor to run on some sort of a bipartisan unity ticket to keep Trump out of the White House.
“Hey, we’re back with Liz Cheney and I have a question because I have felt for a long time that there’s no reason why you can’t find somebody smart on the left and somebody smart on the right and put them together and make that the new party,” Whoopi said.
Co-host Ana Navarro squealed, “Is this going to be a new ticket? Cheney/Goldberg?”
“Never me but I tell you, we probably don’t agree on a lot of stuff but we agree on the fact that we have a great deal of respect for the country. For our country and how we want to see it run,” Goldberg continued.
“Do you see yourself and would you ever consider being the conduit to that third party? Because I don’t know if the Republican Party as we knew it will survive this, because if he ever gets in again we’ll never have any more elections. There will be no more. He will stop it and he’s very clear about that. He wants to be a dictator for life! Okay?” Whoopi asked, spewing a variation of the tiresome Trump is Hitler lie.
“So I wonder would you ever consider, please, would you, please consider being that person? Because I got to tell you, I was really — I don’t understand how people can say, ‘we’re with you, we’re with you, we’re with you,’ and then when you need them they go, ‘oh, but we’re with him now.’ I don’t understand that and I don’t understand how you find the grace not to be pissed at folks,” Whoopi rambled on.
“Oh, I’m not,” Cheney said.
“You’re mad at them but you’re not pissed at them. Because if you were pissed at them, you would have given up on them, and you haven’t. And so, would you – please – I’m begging you,” Goldberg pleaded. “Look, I’m on one knee.”
“I think honestly, Whoopi, that there are millions of Americans — I think the majority of Americans agree with what you just said in terms of the need for us to be able to say,’you know, let’s have the debates about policy and substance, but we love our country more than our political party.’ And going forward, we have to be able to come together,” the former congresswoman responded.
After Cheney self-righteously pontificated, co-host Sara Haines just popped the question, “Would you ever run for president?”
Cheney replied, “Oh, well, I haven’t — I’m not going to rule it out. I haven’t made a decision about that.”
Whoopi’s begging comes as a mysterious new Super PAC announced that it would be raising money to back a “Unity Ticket” as an alternative to Trump and deeply unpopular Democrat Joe Biden.
Inbox: “Today, the founders of the New Leaders 2024 PAC (NL24) released the following statement regarding the creation of the entity. “New Leaders 2024 is being formed to support the election of a No Labels Unity Ticket, should one be named in the coming weeks.” pic.twitter.com/rhy9bygSJm

“New Leaders 2024 is being formed to support the election of a No Labels Unity Ticket, should one be named in the following weeks,” the group said in a statement. “Most Americans clearly believe a Biden vs Trump rematch fails to offer them a choice that fulfills the full promise of a healthy Democracy. The people are demanding another option.”
“A Unity Ticket is the innovation our Democracy needs in today’s broken political dynamic,” concluded the statement. “Entrenched institutional interests will continue to howl in protest about a Unity Ticket, but these protests will be brought by the same partisan adherents that have stood by, or worse overseen, the selection of their deeply flawed likely party nominees,” the statement read.
While Cheney may be adored by leftists, there is the matter of the nearly 40-point beatdown in her own state’s primary that ended her congressional career and she may want to save herself from more humiliation on a national level.
