‘With all due respect, I’ve run more campaigns than you’: Jennings takes on entire clueless smug CNN panel

A seasoned GOP strategist checkmated a CNN panel on Thursday after they once again started fearmongering about President-elect Donald Trump and his future administration.

The heated discussion began with strategist Scott Jennings rightly noting that, despite complaints from the still-grieving left,  Trump won with a mandate from American voters.

“For everybody out there wanting Trump to pivot or change or somehow, whatever you want him to do, he just won a mandate from the American people to execute on the program that he laid out in this election,” Jennings said. “It wasn’t particularly close. And I think he ought to put people in place who are gonna do it.”

That’s when the fireworks popped off courtesy of Catherine Rampell, a die-hard leftist Washington Post “journalist” (her words) who thinks Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff is a “sex symbol.”

“Who will go after his enemies?” Rampell asked, essentially accusing Trump of being the same as current President Joe Biden, who’s targeted Trump for prosecution, in addition to peaceful pro-life protesters.

“That’s not what he ran on!” Jennings rightly pushed back.

“Yes, it is!” Rampell exclaimed in response. “Look at what he said in the past week. He literally said that he was going to exact vengeance.”

“You still don’t understand how you lost,” Jennings replied.

“Don’t say me,” Rampell pushed back. “I’m not a Democrat.”

Jennings responded with a disbelieving face.

A quick glance at Rampell’s Twitter/X feed makes it abundantly clear which political team she has aligned herself with:

“I’m a journalist,” Rampell added without a shred of self-awareness.

FYI, this blatant refusal by corporate media “journalists” to admit their bias is exactly why so many Americans distrust them.

Ignoring Rampell’s bull, Jennings reiterated his original point, saying, “[Trump] ran on the issues that people care about.”

CNN host Abby Phillip, another Democrat, then cut in to argue that Trump ran on both the real issues and also retribution.

“Nobody’s saying he didn’t run on those things,” she said. “But he also ran on vengeance. He did also run on going after the people who went after him.”

Democrat strategist Julie Roginsky concurred.

“He literally said, ‘I am your retribution,’ ‘the Biden crime family,’ ‘lock her up,'” she argued.

Jennings responded with sarcasm.

“I’m heartened that the left still cannot figure this out,” he said. “Good sign.”

He was right. While Trump talks a lot of smack on the campaign trail, he’s demonstrated time and time again that he doesn’t mean it. That’s why, despite calling for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to be locked up in 2016, he never actually locked her up.

The same can’t be said of the Biden-Harris administration, which, in addition to targeting Trump, has targeted numerous perceived enemies, including potentially even those fellow Democrats who’ve had the courage to speak out against Biden’s policies.

Rampell, who works for the Washington Post, then accused Jennings of being naïve.

“I admire your… I don’t know if I want to call it your naiveté or optimism that Trump is going to run on the policies that you care about, about deregulation and tax cuts and whatnot,” she said. “[But] that’s just not what his campaign was about.”

Jennings was unfazed by her own trash-talking.

“I think, with all due respect, I’ve run more campaigns than you,” he replied. “And I know what campaigns are about, and I know why people walk into the voting booths.”

“Why people walk into the voting booth and what Trump plans to do when handed the presidency are two different things,” Rampell replied, concluding the discussion.

As for Trump, he’s been fairly quiet on Truth Social, his social media platform, ever since his stunning victory Tuesday.

Reports have begun to emerge, however, about some of his ACTUAL plans, versus the paranoid delusional fantasies in leftists’ heads.

The actual plans include deporting criminal aliens, potentially enacting term limits for Congress, and firing entrenched bureaucrats.

Not surprisingly, the actual plans do NOT include retribution…
