With DOGE looming, Planned Parenthood Instagram page seemingly scrubbed

Abortion advocate Planned Parenthood appears to have scrubbed its Instagram account without an explanation.

Within hours of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. being sworn in as the secretary of Health and Human Services, every post on the organization’s Instagram page had been deleted. As of this posting, there have been three new posts made encouraging the use of prophylactic protection for couples celebrating Valentine’s Day. They appeared to recognize their massive change by posting a pair of black eyes to their story, only to post again on Friday saying “I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.”

Pro-life advocates have increased their calls to defund Planned Parenthood, and have encouraged the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to look into how much taxpayer funding the organization receives.

Advancing American Freedom President Tim Chapman penned a letter to Elon Musk imploring him to think about the lives of the unborn.

“For the sake of the American people and generations yet unborn, the time has come for the United States to finally defund the largest abortion provider in America,” he wrote.

A Government Accountability Office report revealed that Planned Parenthood has received “nearly $22 billion in HHS grants and $53 billion from public health programs from 2019 to 2021,” according to Fox News.

Kennedy’s confirmation hearing contained discussion of abortion, with him calling it a “tragedy.”

“I agree with President Trump that every abortion is a tragedy. I agree with him that we cannot be a moral nation if we have 1.2 million abortions a year. I agree with him that the states should control abortion. President Trump has told me that he wants to end late-term abortions, and he wants to protect conscience exemptions,” the new HHS secretary said, vowing to implement Trump’s agenda.

X users had plenty to say about the social media scrubbing:
