Witnesses of triple murder say Kim Kardashian never called them, is VERY wrong about man she’s trying to free

Two sibling survivors of a brutal 1994 triple murder say reality star-turned-activist Kim Kardashian never bothered to call them for the celebrity’s new true crime Spotify podcast, and if she had, she may have realized that “Kevin did it.”

Kardashian has made headlines in recent years as a champion for prison reform, so it’s no surprise that she’d launch a podcast to make her points, but it seems she should have dug a little deeper on the subject of “The System,” convicted triple-murderer Kevin Keith.

Quanita and Quentin Reeves were six and four when they witnessed the shooting of their cousin, Marichell Chatman, her four-year-old-daughter Marchae, and Marichell’s aunt, Linda Chatman at the hands of Marichell’s ex-boyfriend, Kevin Keith. The brother and sister were both shot in the stomach by Keith, who has spent the last 28 years sitting in prison for his crimes.

But like so many prison inmates, Keith insists he didn’t do it. Unlike most prison inmates, however, the convicted murderer caught Kardashian’s attention, and because the queen of click-bait believes him, he’s now the new poster child for her crusade.

Quanita and Quentin, now in their 30s, can’t quite believe their ears.

“She did not contact us, not one time,” Quentin told DailyMail.com. “If Kim Kardashian wants to get involved, she should come and meet us face-to-face.”

“‘We saw it with our own eyes. You don’t forget something like that,” he continued. “I don’t care what Kim Kardashian says – Kevin did it.”

According to the angry survivor, now a father of two, Kardashian is more concerned with her image than she is with the facts of the case.

“Why doesn’t Kim Kardashian come out here to Ohio? She doesn’t want to hear from us,” he said. “She wants to get him out to make her look better… that’s the truth.”

Sister Quanita is equally disturbed by the star’s lack of interest in their side of the story.

“We should have been the first call,” she stated. “Kevin gets to sit in jail and become a celebrity. Meanwhile we’re out here dealing with this our entire lives… it’s crazy.”

While neither Kardashian nor the podcast’s producer, Lori Rothschild Ansaldi, returned the Daily Mail’s request for comment, sources claim the siblings were contacted. According to Quanita, the first she heard from the podcast crew was on the day the first episode aired, October 3rd.

Though the two were very young when the murders occurred, they are adamant that they remember everything, and they will never forget what happened.

“It’s been a long time but I can still remember what the place looked like. I could draw it,” Quentin said. “That’s what makes it seem so hard. They don’t account for that. They don’t care how this makes us feel.”

“He did it,” he repeated. “I was there. How could you forget something like that?”

Quanita is also certain of the events of that night.

“It was Kevin,” she said. “He came in, and shot up the place.”

According to the prosecutors in the case, Keith went to the house looking to kill the siblings’ older cousin, Rudel, who had snitched to the police on Keith for dealing drugs. Rudel wasn’t there, so Keith, whom Quentin and Quanita both say was “nervous” when he showed up, killed the family instead.

Keith claims he was at his aunt’s house, in a different part of town, and many of his relatives back up his version of the story.

Though the murderer fled the scene, Keith was picked up for what he thought was drug charges a few days later.

He was nearly executed for the murders in 2010, but his death sentence was commuted by former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland at the very last moment. The governor pointed to “important questions” that were as yet unanswered as the reason for his decision.

Despite Keith’s claims, the siblings vividly recall Keith shouting at them all to “get on the ground” before he opened fire.

They remember Marichell screaming, “Kevin, why are you doing this?”

But according to a police report Kardashian references in the first two episodes of “The System,” at the time of the crime, Quanita described the shooter as her “daddy’s friend Bruce.” The then-six-year-old also failed to pick Keith out of a police line-up.

Quanita dismisses the inconsistency, telling DailyMail.com that she had just come out of surgery at the time of her comment and she was “scared and confused.”

“I was terrified of being questioned, I’m in the hospital, I’ve just had surgery,” she explained. “It was a mistake.”

Kardashian’s involvement with the case appears to have begun back in 2018.

“I heard about Kevin Keith’s case last year & the more I learn about it, the more I believe the world needs to hear what happened to him!” she tweeted in 2019. “He was on death row & came w/in days of execution before the governor of Ohio commuted his sentence to life w/o parole.”

“I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin Keith through a video visit & was so impressed w/ the amazing programs he created in prison to help others inside better themselves!” she added in another tweet from the same day. “So much evidence has been uncovered proving Kevin’s innocence. I hope justice is served soon & he is released.”

She now has six more episodes to convince listeners of his innocence.
