Megyn Kelly destroyed the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society after they fired a 90-year-old volunteer for getting confused over gender pronouns and then issuing a truly lame leftist apology.
First the apology, then the evisceration…
“The National Multiple Sclerosis Society apologizes to our longtime, dedicated volunteer Fran Itkoff. Recently, we asked Fran to step down from her role as a group leader because of statements made that we viewed as not aligning with our recently implemented diversity, equity, and inclusion policy. We realize now that we made a mistake, and we should have had more conversations with Fran before making this decision,” the MS Society sort of apologized.
“Over her 60 years of volunteer service, Fran has been a committed champion for our cause. We had an opportunity to work with her and support her as a self-help group volunteer leader, but as an organization, we fell short,” they stated after giving the elderly volunteer the boot.
BREAKING: National Ms Society just released a statement backtracking on the entire story saying they were WRONG and APOLOGIZE to the 90-year-old volunteer who they forced to step down over pronouns.

Then came the justification that they should have just explained diversity, equity, or inclusion (DEI) better to Itkoff so she could fall in line and be politically correct.
“While we acted at the time with the best intentions, we did not have clear protocols in place. We should have spent more time with Fran to help her understand why, as an organization, we are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive movement where everyone has equitable access to the care, connections, and support they need to live their best lives,” the MS Society contended in true leftist fashion.
“We apologized to Fran directly and reached out to her to find a way to continue to work together. In the spirit of continuous learning, we are focused on evaluating our processes and fortifying our learning to ensure our team members are equipped on the best ways to implement all of our policies. We want everyone to feel confident and supported in their roles. This work is a journey requiring commitment, accountability, transparency, and courage,” the organization stated in an obvious attempt to stave off a lawsuit and to keep people from cutting off donations.
It took you this long to admit you were wrong @mssociety? I think many of us have realized that you care more about being politically correct than helping those of us who live with MS. A good lesson.

Conservative pundit Megyn Kelly wasn’t having any of it and she let loose on X concerning the so-called apology.
“Another FAIL from the MS Society – they finally apologize to the 90-yr-old volunteer they fired for not understanding why she was forced to say her pronouns but now say what they shld’ve done was work w/her to explain how wonderful DEI is. WRONG AGAIN,” Kelly wrote.

Users on X lined up to voice agreement with Kelly and express their disgust with the MS Society:
“We should have spent more time with Fran to help her understand why, as an organization….”
It’s hard to indoctrinate a 90 year old.
The apology is lame.

“The National Multiple Sclerosis Society apologizes for not using a baseball bat on Fran from the beginning.”
— Paul Chato (@PaulChato) February 21, 2024
It’s unreal. Their big takeaway, after all that time for reflection, was that they should have tried harder to convince a 90 year old women to adopt the pronounce nonsense before giving her the boot.
Never once, it seems, did they consider the policy might be at issue.

“Our Apologies. We didn’t Indoctrinate you enough.”

They have now determined there is a more polite way of saying “my way or the highway”.

“We’re so very deeply sorry we failed to properly reeducate her and we’re super sorry we didn’t get a non-disclosure agreement from her. Please turn the money spigot back on. Thank you. That is all.”
— aforest (@tserofa) February 21, 2024
@mssociety, that was the equivalent of an apology starting with, “I apologize to anyone who may have been offended”.
Fail, and you should be ashamed. Focus on your actual mission, and leave ideology at home.

How kind of them to allow her to continue to provide free services for them while they train her in pronouns.
— Jay Presser (@JMPresser) February 21, 2024
So 90-year-old Fran simply needs more “#diversity #training” to understand the error of her ways: “re-education.”

They apologize like my mother-in-law, I’m sorry you feel bad about what I did to you. LOL.
