Woke ideology on the left, which relies heavily on critical queer theory, shows no signs of relenting, particularly when it comes to promoting acceptance among children.
Cartoon Network is creating quite a stir over its plan to debut they/them pronouns in a “nonbinary inclusive episode” of “We Baby Bears” this Saturday morning, according to Fox News.
The episode, titled “Polly’s New Crew,” will feature two nonbinary characters and contains a discussion about pronoun use, the network reported, citing GLAAD. The episode shows characters introducing themselves using their names and pronouns as the bears reunite with their old friend Polly the Pirate Captain.
“I am the great Winnifred, she/her,” one character says. “Actor extraordinaire!”
“Our crew also has a new addition,” another bear says. “Meet Box! They use they/them pronouns and they make an exceptionally good quiche!”
The Polly character happily announces, “I use they/them pronouns as well. All right, so let’s get this pirate adventure going!”
In effect, it’s pure, unadulterated propaganda being projected on children. The cult of transgenderism has resulted in an entire generation of children being confused about the basic concept of there being just two genders in this world — male and female — and they are not interchangeable. As a result, gender dysphoria has become a contagion that grows and grows.
Some suggest that the radical left’s cleverly instituted woke scoring system may explain the madness. Cowardly corporations are steered by social credit scores on diversity and inclusion — Corporate Equality Index scores, overseen by the pro-LGBTQ+ advocacy group Human Rights Campaign, is seen as all-important by many companies, along with environmental sustainability governance (ESG) scores. Many companies fear the outcome of disappointing the intolerant left more than they do upsetting loyal customers, it seems.
And any rejection of queer theory, which posits that gender is fluid, is sure to result in a poor score.
The “We Baby Bears” team issued a statement explaining their propaganda.
“During the production of ‘We Baby Bears,’ a few crew members came out with they/them pronouns, and we felt that it was important to reflect that in the show,” the statement said. “Our show team values representation because it’s something everybody on the show deeply cares about, and that’s why we aim to cast LGBTQ talent like Alok Vaid-Menon, Harvey Guillén, and Dominique Jackson.”
GLAAD noted that this isn’t the first pro-LGBTQ episode of the show, pointing to an episode in May featuring trans actress Dominique Jackson, who voices the queen of the galaxy’s power-hungry sister, Cassi.
“My role as Cassi was really fun, but was also a reminder that everyone could tell stories despite their gender identification or sexual orientation!” Jackson said about her role on the show. “I’m very fortunate to have had this experience, especially when many are pushing for my community’s eradication by saying we are dangerous.”
Make no mistake, as the popular Libs of TikTok Twitter account noted, “They are after your kids.”
