After hung jury, Lindsay Clancy lawyer makes stunning plea to Trump

President Donald Trump received a request from Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer following the mistrial.

Kevin Reddington joined Good Morning America to discuss his client’s legal future when he suggested that perhaps Trump could “consider a pardon” after weighing in on the case.

“What’s next for Lindsay?” host George Stephanopoulos asked.

“I’d like to say that perhaps Donald Trump, who felt compelled to speak out about this case, may very well, Mr. President I would hope that you would consider this young lady, the type of person she is, what she’s been through, and consider a pardon,” Reddington replied.

As BizPac Review previously reported, the president was asked about the Clancy trial, where he advocated for consequences but steered clear of supporting one side of the other.

“It’s a shame. It’s a horrible tragedy. I see what’s happened, and it looks like it’s a hung jury. I think the judge just said it’s gonna be a mistrial, I assume there’s going to be another trial,” he said. “It’s a terrible situation. She did a horrible, horrible thing. Can’t be worse. But you’ll find out what the price to pay is, there’ll be a price. Could be a mental institution or jail, or something. But I guess they gotta go through another trial; it’s too bad.”
