Thanks to acolytes of woke ideologies, it really has never been clearer that progressives and their ilk have no interest in compromise or coexisting, no matter what their bumper stickers tell you. All of their demands must be obsequiously attended to in the name of justice, or so hundreds of Amazon workers have been led to believe.
Dated Monday, an open letter from an unspecified number of Amazonians to their leadership began making the rounds on social media pertaining to the Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade, and it’s as absurd as you might think.
In the letter that was “edited to reduce post length and add more inclusive language,” the damaged snowflakes “request immediate and decisive action against the threat to our basic human rights.”
As shared by the account Libs of TikTok, it was detailed that, “Hundreds of Amazon employees signed an open letter to Amazon leadership demanding they cease doing business in states where abortion is illegal and requesting time off to grieve the Supreme Court ruling.”

Along with needing time off to “express their frustrations, and protest against the assault on [their] rights,” the Amazon employees insisted donations be sent to bail funds for their totally legitimate, not at all violent or illegal, “expression.”
What do you mean allow employees to express their frustations? Weren’t they doing that already? pic.twitter.com/e49baPM1wC

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣tell me you don’t understand how a business operates without telling me.

It didn’t take long for people to start pointing out that one of the largest retail entities in the world did not get to where it is without an understanding of capitalism.
No, they don’t, because these “Open Letter” writers typically operate on emotion, not logic.

Meanwhile, Amazon had already declared in May after the draft majority opinion had leaked that they would provide up to $4,000 in expenses for employees to cover the cost of traveling to an abortion clinic. But, enough is never good enough when social justice is at stake.
This is the very definition of overplaying your hand. The left are going loony tunes🤪

But wait they are all ok with doing business over seas with Human rights violations, forced labor, child labor in a country that has tyrannical leadership. Please make it make sense. But they morn democracy…

They only care about themselves and whatever benefits themselves. Nothing but hypocrisy.

Evidently, the employees over at Amazon haven’t been paying attention to their company’s bold opposition to repeated attempts at unionizing. They also failed to note that executives don’t have to capitulate to the whiny grievances of the civically uninformed.
Take billionaire CEO Elon Musk, for example. After an open letter from Tesla employees was deemed “overreaching activism,” at least five workers were shown the door. They had complained, “As our CEO and most prominent spokesperson, Elon is seen as the face of SpaceX – every Tweet that Elon sends is a de facto public statement by the company. It is critical to make clear to our teams and to our potential talent pool that his messaging does not reflect our work, our mission, or our values.”

Of course, much like demands from leftist activists to initiate a sex strike over Roe, conservative witnesses to these histrionics welcomed these acts of solidarity.
Lol, their terms are acceptable

Honestly this is fine for me in FL. I’ve already transitioned to Walmart+ and it’s actually working pretty well for me.
— Chris Blec (@ChrisBlec) June 28, 2022
I guess it’s time to start spending more money with small businesses again.

Regarding the sex strike, abstinence and personal responsibility are exactly what conservatives have been calling for on the issue for years. Then, on the matter of Amazon abandoning red states, the void would soon be filled by a major retailer like Walmart or any number of small businesses that could thrive in an environment that wasn’t overly dominated by the online behemoth.
It remains to be seen if the employer of more than 1.6 million people will be moved by the whims of hundreds.
