Controversial pundit Ann Coulter slammed Donald Trump’s “vocabulary” and called former President Barack Obama “the most articulate president we’ve probably ever had.”
If Americans want a sense of safety, she told PBD Podcast, “Donald Trump ain’t your guy.”
Coulter has previously expressed her belief that Trump will not receive the Republican presidential nomination, but she admitted that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is “not a showman on the debate stage.”
Many presidents, she argued, have not been great at speaking publicly.
“One thing I’ve noticed about presidents is we tend to go back and forth, I mean it’s like me going back and forth on boyfriends, the smart, ugly one and the good-looking, stupid one,” she said. “And you just keep going back and forth, back and forth… And the voters similarly seem to go back and forth between highly articulate presidents and marbles-in-their-mouth presidents.”
Ronald Reagan, she noted, was “unbelievably articulate.”
“I mean it drove Democrats crazy and oh, Hollywood, Hollywood,” she said. “And then we get marbles-in-his-mouth George Bush One. Then we get Mr. Smooth, Bill Clinton, and oh, melts in your mouth. And then we go from there to another marbles-in-your-mouth Bush to ,oh my gosh, the most articulate president we’ve probably ever had, Barack Obama, to Trump who has a vocabulary of about 50 words.”

Later in the lengthy podcast, Coulter blasted Trump for his handling of the 2020 BLM riots following George Floyd’s death.
“It changed the world,” she said of Floyd’s death. “Suddenly, we have to release all the criminals, among other things.”
“One place you would have been safe in 2020 was in Florida,” she stated. “Thank you Ron DeSantis, passing law after law where you can shoot looters and anti-rioting laws. I mean, there were specific actions he took that meant that there were no riots and police stations weren’t burnt down and you did not have police being assaulted.”
“What did the commander-in-chief do? What did Trump do?” she asked. “He sent out tweets in all caps, LAW AND ORDER.”
“You know what he said in the first debate with Joe Biden — and this is after a year of them burning, BLM and Antifa, burning down police stations! Ripping down statues! I mean, anarchy like I’ve never seen in this country before!” she stated. “…At the first debate, what did Donald Trump say to Joe Biden? ‘You called them super predators. I’m releasing people from prison.’ How about the First Step Act? Thank you, Jared [Kushner].”
“He’s releasing criminals,” Coulter said. “You want to feel safe? Donald Trump ain’t your guy.”

On X, Trump supporters see Coulter as a “nincompoop,” and trashed the DeSantis War Room for posting the clip.
